I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nathu Veg Restaurant, a vegetarian Indian restaurant in Dal Lake Srinagar. Read moreI had a truly disappointing experience. It's safe to say that it's the worst place I've ever visited. The food was simply terrible. The shakes were a major letdown - the vanilla and butterscotch shakes were nothing more than a weak essence of their respective flavors mixed with warm milk. As for the chocolate shake, it was no better, with chocolate powder poorly mixed in watery milk.
The chola puri was a greasy disaster, and it left me feeling quite unwell. The only redeeming item was the eggless fruit cream bowl, which was just okay but certainly not worth the price. Adding to our disappointing experience, we also noticed that some of the workers were just sitting on the tables, chatting on their phones, and staring at us. It was highly unprofessional and made the atmosphere even more uncomfortable. However, we chose not to create a scene and ignored it

Read moreI recently visited this place and was extremely disappointed with my experience. Upon placing my order, I requested a specific dish, only to be told by the staff that it was unavailable because it had run out. However, my disappointment turned to frustration when I witnessed another customer being served the exact dish I had requested moments later.
The blatant inconsistency in their service left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer. Not only did they refuse to accommodate my simple request, but they also failed to provide a valid explanation for their actions. It's evident that the staff lacks integrity and honesty, which reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole.
I strongly advise against dining at Nathu's unless you enjoy being treated unfairly and misled by their deceitful practices. Save yourself the frustration and choose a dining establishment that values its customers and operates with transparency...
