MAJOR REVIEW OF BRUBECK: Hey everyone, I am Apoorva Ayan and I have been going to Brubeck Bakery for past 11-12 years I think and for me it holds a lot sentimental value because of how special it has been for me and how it has always served me nicely. The people working there are really nice and soooo considerable I really like them. The ambiance is also really good and now after it's renovation it looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!! And the quality of the food has always been the best since the beginning. My personal favorites are the Hazelnut Croissant, the Mushroom Corn Puff, The Chicken Burger & the Baked Blueberry Cheesecake. MAJOR THING THAT I LIKE ABOUT BRUBECK IS THAT THEY PRICE THEIR ITEMS ACCORDING TO LIKE THE AMOUNT OF WORK AND INGREDIENTS USED IT CAUSE LIKE YOU YOURSELF WILL SEE THAT LIKE THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEMS OF THEIRS ARE THE CROISSANTS AND THE CHEESECAKES CAUSE LEMME TELL YOU THEY ARE DIFFICULT AND QUITE EXTENSIVE TO MAKE. This review is regarding the practices and ethics of this establishment and not of their product. I ordered a B'day cake for my wife, who is currently visiting her parents at Jamshedpur. I ordered a half kg cake worth 550. I asked for it to be delivered at Baridih, I was told that will be 150 extra =700. That is understandable. Next I was asked if I will be paying via cash or online. I obviously said online, since who orders a birthday cake for a loved one far away with COD. I was told, that will be 140 extra!

When I asked for the justification, I was told 18% GST and 2% online transaction charges. So, does that mean that you establishment does not pay taxes for Cash payments????

The cherry on the cake (pun intended) was that I was charged a 2.8% over and above the 840 I was paying (mind you, including "transaction charges") through the gateway of their choice. So ultimately I had to shell out 863.37 for 550 cake. A premium of ~57% !! I really wanted to support local businesses and not order from a a place like Ferns n Petals,...

Brubeck Bakery is a true Jamshedpur gem! My family and I have been relying on them for cakes and other large products for years, and they consistently deliver. Almost every product they offer is of extremely high quality, freshly baked, and incredibly delicious. What truly makes this place stand out is that their quality often matches or even exceeds some of the bigger, well-known outlets globally, like Theobroma, but the value for money here is absolutely amazing. Everything is priced correctly, and the final bill is always a pleasant surprise.
