Good Rajasthani taste

Has all the dishes but stick to Rajasthani cuisine. The meal option is the best and take bajre ki roti. Overall quick service. Ambience can be improved but value for money.Budget restaurant If you are looking for pure vegetarian restaurant this is the place, there are many with this name but be specific to this place, eat anything you need the taste is good and in budget.One of the best restaurant in jodhpur. A must visit place for all food lovers. We visited twice to this place just for having the Rajasthani thali. The quantity and quality of food both goes hand in hand. We also had jira rice and dal thadka. The best dal thadka i had ever. The staff is also very good.My first lunch in jodhpur was here. Though there were many items on the menu, we tried the Rajasthani thali. Everything was delicious and good. Rotis are must try. Just that staff were little unpleasant, maybe they'd a bad day.this time i took food for home but usually i dine in here. it is a good place to have a meal with family and friends with proper seating arrangement and good service. The place has a variety of vegetarian items on their menu, most of them typically Rajasthani dishes. I'm not very happy about the taste. The simple gatte ki sabzi can be found far more tastier in other places than this. I ordered a simple thali which had chhachh, bajre ki roti, ker sangri, gatte ki sabzi, chakki ki sabzi, mint chutney, khata, mixed veg rice, papad and salad. The servers are very attentive and polite. I enjoyed only the bajre ki roti, ker sangri and khata. Rest items were below average taste wise.Its a typical eatery that has a high turnover and the likes of which may be seen next to a bus station usually. There would be ushers at the door and a big hall dotted with tables and chairs. Waiters move fast, customers slowly. A 'hand wash' station conveniently placed in between. Food is regular, fills the tummy. The staff is matter of fact and doesn't engage.Taste of food is awesome but the services are too poor..... We had our dinner here today ... Found food quality is good and taste is very good but the service and cleaning is issue... Management should take proper care of their premises....A simple, traditional air-conditioned dining hall for families, in Jodhpur, at 12th Residency Road, Sardarpura. The food is simple, traditional Rajasthani fare with the contemporary Chinese cuisine and the fast food variety, burgers, pizzas, etc. also added. Also available is the north Indian fare. All dishes mentioned are available The staff is polite, courteous, helpful with their suggestions. The portions served are decent and the prices are reasonable. Meal for two would be till Rs. 500.00I love te food at this place as it tastes same as it was few years ago. Kissan group has grown themselves in terms of restaurants but the essence of thia place is the same and i love it. Nice interiors, good food, awesome service. It ia typically 'desi'.The food quality as well as quantity was awesome. The paneer butter masala, malai kofta, Tarka lagi daal were faboulus and mouth watering. The Butter naan, kulcha, tandoori roti all were great and crispy. The veg fried rice was also good. Altogether, good north indian food at a reasonable price. The ambience of the place was also nice . While the entrance is bit smaller but the sitting and dining area were large enough. One can go with his family there for sure for a great food.Very Good place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. This may be my second experience of SKB and this time I visited the place after renovation. My expectations were high after seeing a local vlogger's reel to visit this place. But my experience was not at all good. Let's start with the place and then the order with each item's review-

Place- There is valet parking kind of so u don't need to worry about it. Since the interiors have been renovated, ambience is nice and clean. The cutlery used is of plastic like the plates and water glasses are of plastic but if you order a Thali it would be in brass I guess. The waiters don't have information about the food items so you don't need to expect any explanation from them. You need to use your own wisdom to understand the menu.

Order Masala Papad - Was average in taste but I had no clue who puts raw cabbage to the mix over the papad. This is the first time I had it like that.

Green Salad - was fresh and ok. No issues.

Special Kisan Thali - nothing special about it just that you will get variety of items as you can see in the picture. The taste was not at all good of the any items only lehsun(garlic) chutney was good taste. Rest all were sub standard in taste and we didn't like it. Nargis kofta was nowhere like it shud be and later on we realized it's nargis kofta and that swimming in oil completely. Besan Chakki was the most dry I had ever in my life I dnt know of which century it wud be. In breads, you will get 3 tawa chapati 1 sogra and 1 Missi roti . Rotis were fine but sogra and Missi roti need a second thought.

Paneer Tikka Masala - did not like it at all. Less salt which can be adjusted and it tasted sweet without proper flavours to it. I guess they used a good amount of ketchup in preparation.

Butter Naan and Tandoori Roti in Ghee - these were good no issues.

Now finally the payment part - you need to pay in cash or card. No UPI or QR scanning option here. So plan accordingly.

I won't suggest this place if you need a good taste experience and it is nowhere a fine...

My experience used to be good in this resto But this time, on 15th Aug, it was really bad experience Delay in service, many time I had to call waiter to take orders and take update on food readiness Dry chilli paneer has to be dry, but it was with gravy of souce. Too sweet They did not provide forks on time, they provided on multiple asks Soups was really bad, due to hardness of fried noodle Curry quantity is not sufficient for two person, it is kind of half plat only
