Namma Madurai Dosai — Restaurant in Jodhpur

I was travelling across Rajasthan for about a month and really started missing South Indian food. This place was an absolute delight! If you’re craving authentic Tamil Nadu style dosai and idly, look no further - this is the spot in Jodhpur.

I was pleasantly surprised by how authentic everything tasted and later learnt that the owner is originally from Tamil Nadu. Both the owner and the dosamaster were warm, welcoming, and friendly.

I’ve tried dosai and idly at a few other places in Jodhpur (and Rajasthan overall), but trust me, here you get authentic taste at a fraction of the price others charge. The food is simple, tasty, and prepared with care.

As feedback, I’d love to see boiler tea and filter coffee added to the menu in the future - that would make the experience even more complete.

Delicious and authentic South Indian style. Must try Mini idli, Fried idli and Ghee podi dosa. Idlies are very soft and Tasty. Dosa is just like what we get in Tamil Nadu. The chef is from Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu. Chutney and sambar are authentic South Indian style.
