Cita Pani Fried Chicken - Global Village — Restaurant in Kannur

The expectations were high when I visited Cita Pani this evening. It was one of its kind back in the days when fast food and Turkish/Arabian cuisine was not available in plenty (like these days).

The first thing I noticed was how badly the place was organised. The staff was not wearing any uniform (which I feel should be in place for a unit like Cita Pani). Hence, it was difficult to find someone to talk, mainly to know about the menu/main attractions etc.

We wanted to order chicken kebab and asked the counter guy how many pieces were there in half portion. Since he mentioned 6 pieces, we went for full portion. It took more than 20 minutes to deliver, which was expected.

On reaching home, we were greeted with huge chunks of deep fried chicken pieces (not at all like the usual kebab pieces that you would expect). It was really bland and extremely dry (due to deep frying for a long time).

So, overall I'd say it was just an average experience.

Pro tip: Don't order kebab here and you might end up disappointed like me. What I have understood is, people come here mainly for shawarma dishes (of course loaded with mayonnaise 😁).

Really bad food.One of the overrated restaurant in kannur.May be some one would say CitaPani is the best restaurant in kannur.Plz avoid it i will completely suggest this is the Bad restaurant, Bad Food,Staff behavior is very very bad especially Billing staff is really rude. 22-Dec-24 we were visited the restaurant with family and we ordered half Chicken manthi and Quarter Shawai also Orderd two Juice .(Juice is quit good).we were waited 20mnts and there staff bring the foods,at the first sight we realize that our food were utter flop.The chicken piece is very little,Very little in the sence that is not a quarter of a chicken. We got very small piece of chicken.They are charging 240rs for a quarter mathi,wr were told this to the staff.Bt the staff behaviour is very very rude.They treated us not like a customer.‘if you don't want food you can go’ they said.And at last we have discussed this prblm with the management they also treated as like i mentioned above.So people dont go there.You can find better restaurant in...

We had dinner many times after around 10 pm or 11 pm, ideal place for late night foodies. Ambience is a good attraction for Cita Pani near SN Park and there is a car park infront of it, need to say about the service there as super cool service and food. Tasty food good service. Ground floor is more better feel than 1st floor. Popular items we tried are chicken mandi, shawai, shawarma, kabab, Porotta with Beef roast, etc.. Highly recommended for all groups of customers including family as they have good ambience upstairs aswell. Ofcourse, The Best place in Malabar to enjoy the Tastiest Turkish Shawarma as well as Cocktail Shawarma. Last but not the least, I cant stop without a word for Mr. Abhilash sirs smile and warm Hospitality. Keep it Up, Guys. You are Awesome and keep us yearning for once more and more....
