Wheat House — Restaurant in Kannur

It's an old big house converted to a hotel. It's been a famous hotel in Kannur city for ages now. Parking area is not bad. I have visited here couple of times with my family and friends. Never had a bad experience. Food quality is good. All Indian and other cuisines are tasty. Interiors should have been a little altered. Seating is not bad, just average. I guess with minor alterations, this hotel can have it's old Glory days again.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and directed us to a private dining room adjacent to the restaurant to eat our meal in peace and tranquillity. The quality of the fish in their biryani is outstanding and we ended up ordering some more. The only draw-back is their toilets need refurbishing and at least one western toilet must be installed for the foreigners amongst their clientele. Then they will surely be the best pit stop in the town on the journey to...

For tip restaurant

Positive:Parking space, Dining space.

Negative: Serving staffs, when I visited the serving staff was dipping fingers in curry and behaved like wanted tip, definitely with an unsatisfied customer. Taste is average, billing staffs behaved decent. Cleanliness could have been better
