Moois Residency — Hotel in Kannur

This hotel is located in the main city with plenty of options to eat around and shop as well. the hotel does NOT have car parking and a restaraunt , as it needs to be parked on the road. try out dakshin kannur veg restarant for tasty and affordable meals. which is 5min walking from the hotel. the deluxe category rooms are spacious and very well kept, only thing is the light in the bathroom is too dim. they dont provide a kettle for hot water. the flypside of this place is Mr. Roshan who handles the reception. You ask him to assist you with luggage , parking or any other service over the phone its never taken well, you are either stuck with the situation or you need to come up with an easy way out.(infact an elderly gentlemen helped me with parking and resto assistance even if you ask for a bucket and mug or gor the bellboy it will take ages to come. even if the rooms are dirty upon arrival and a quick change in room is a must, he will wait patiently at the reception(does not answer the call) until you visit him at the reception and sternly ask him WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG!!! We had booking with them for the Deluxe room(310 sq ft) for 30th Dec & 31st dec, 2022. However, when we reached, they provided us Executive room(250 sq ft), which was downgraded room in comparison to what we have booked. Hotel staff confirmed us the same that it was the downgraded version room, when we raised concern, they asked us to connect with travel portal team for refund of the difference amount. Later, when travel portal team connected with hotel manager for the confirmation of the same, they completely denied that it was downgrade in comparison to what we have booked instead they mentioned it was upgraded room which they have provided to us. Completely LYING about the same. I don't think with this type of behavior they can survive much in hospitality industry. Would never recommend this...

As a hotelier, I can confidently say that this is nothing more than a third-rate lodge. There are no professional staff, no manager—no one in charge. I stayed here for two nights. On the second day, I requested room cleaning, but the person at the reception said they had no staff available to clean the room. When I asked to speak to the manager, they refused.

After a long argument, they finally agreed to change my room. It’s shocking how a property like this is run without any responsible or experienced person. They don’t provide basic toiletries, and the toilet was dirty and looked very old. The only positives were that the room was okay and the view was nice.
