Vanilla ice cream & gulab jamun was also present, Kulfi was at last where you can choose different flavours consisting of kesar pista, starwberry, pineapple & kiwi there was also a add ons. Service was super amazing it was one the best service I ever had till now their level of service provokes us to give tips.Employees there r soo nice & cooperative. Most of the food served was spicy and tasty but some where really disgusting. Price of buffet lunch is around 600-700₹ in weekdays & in weekends it costs 800-900₹ it starts from 12-3pm everyday. Not all bbq in their table was good some was not worth the taste like paneer, corn, soya non veg bbq was tasty.Chettinad curry was not upto the mark, crisy corn was superb, kulfi was the worst item I ever tasted it was tasteless. Amount of food & variety which they provide is worth the price. But they have 50+ varieties which no humans can eat all even if they take each and every item very less.So I price was too much. All I can say is reduce the varities in starters and also reduce price so that it becomes affordable & also tasteable...
Read moreI have been to barbeque nation many times and to many branches in Bangalore but this time it was pathetic experience- be it the food or the service. Very delay in serving!
As I am regular to Barbeque Nation in Bangalore in JP Nagar, Rajajinagar this time wanted to take my family (7 persons) to Barbeque Nation at my native, Manipal City Centre. We paid huge price per person i.e; Rs. 850/- ,my total bill amount was Rs. 5701/- on 29.12.2021. the money was just wasted as we got very average food and without the expected customer service by the staffs. The food was just okay, nothing great or memorable. The service was infact very bad as there were hardly any staffs to attend. You can check the cctv, almost 4-5 staffs running everywhere, and ending up with not satisfying anyone.1 staff introdused himself to us, When we asked him anything he said it's not in the menu, but he with his own wish and willing he would get it for us! that was something very ridiculous. . . We had asked for just fish and Kabab! the staff who attended us was not aware of what is available in Barbeque Nation, when I was telling him what I had tried in Bangalore Restaurant and not available in Manipal, he was just arguing and trying to confuse. Feels as if customers are being taken for granted!
Ice Creams, Vanilla and Strawberry both including the Kulfi's tasted very bad, worst than the local cycle waala. Dnt worry, if People have any health issues, they will surely not try your deserts. Don't stop others from eating with tasteless stuff!
With having all these problems the Staff was just behind us to provide them the good feedback, I was telling him continuously that it was overall the worst experience! Finally I had to say him that I will review the complete feedback and this is all about!
No more Barbeque Nation!...

I've been a loyal customer of Barbeque Nation in Mumbai, but my first visit to the Manipal branch left me underwhelmed. The new Xpress Lunch concept fell short of expectations.
Starters: A Letdown The Xpress Barbeque format replaces the usual table-service starters with a self-serve model. Unfortunately, the options were limited and unimpressive. The two fish items – tawa fry and fry – were overcooked and tasted like dry fish. The 3-4 chicken options were similarly uninspiring, with indistinguishable flavors. To make matters worse, the starters were served lukewarm, requiring us to request reheating.
Veg Starters: A Slight Redemption The vegetarian starters were relatively better, with three options that showed some promise.
Main Course: A Mixed Bag The main course, self-served as usual, was decent but not exceptional. The vegetarian section outshone the non-vegetarian options. The non-veg biryani was average, while the salad section lacked variety, relying heavily on carrots, cucumbers, and onions.
Desserts: A Sweet Ending The limited dessert options were surprisingly good.
Service: Room for Improvement The staff's enthusiasm for feedback was short-lived, as they seemed put off by our honest criticism. After that, they were noticeably absent from our table.
Verdict: 2.5/5
Overall, my experience was mediocre. While the main course and desserts showed some promise, the starters and service left much to be desired. Unless they revamp their Xpress Lunch concept, I wouldn't recommend this...
