🎶 Atmosphere & Ambience
Located on Neeladri Road, Gilly’s offers a stylish, modern interior with warm rust‑brown hues, quirky décor, and plenty of seating options—bar stools, lounge booths, and spacious tables . The layout spans two levels, with a balcony-like upper seating that provides an elevated vantage. Music runs at lively volume, ideal for groups and casual outings, though it can feel a bit loud during busy nights—perfect for those who enjoy energy and social buzz, but possibly too much for quiet dinners .
🍽️ Food & Drinks
Gilly’s menu spans diverse cuisines: North Indian, Continental, Chinese, Sichuan, some Italian, and Asian fusion . Dishes like Tandoori Chicken Salad, Vegetable Sichuan Fried Rice, Chicken Tikka Mayo Roll, paneer kathi roll, nachos, and white‑sauce pasta are favorites . Magicpin reviews praise both the freshness and generous portions, noting “[t]he Chicken Tandoori Salad was simply amazing!” and “[f]resh ingredients and lots of flavor” in the Sichuan Fried Rice . The bar is well‑stocked, offering cocktails, craft beers, draught beer, and spirited promotions like “₹31 Booze Cruise” deals .

This is very much a social bar. Expect live DJs, occasional live music, movie screenings, karaoke, pool, and darts . The crowd is a mix of techies, young professionals, and local party‑goers—mostly in groups, keeping a vibrant, upbeat vibe. Some noise is inevitable, but that’s part of the charm if you’re going for a lively night out .

Read moreWent for A Women's day dinner with my wife and daughter. The food has always been good at Gilly's. Usually I have no complaints there. This time I have. Will come to that. But first, they took my orders three times. Every time after 10 minutes or so, they came back and told that multiple items are not available. And it was not even that crowded by a Saturday night's standard. Then when they brought out starters, which is mentioned in the menu to be served with "bloody mary sauce", it was with store bought red chilli mayonnaise. I asked the waiter boy about it, and he told that the bloody mary sauce is not available so they brought it. It was not bad, so we let it go. But another guy, who is presumably above the waiters, came and apologised for the unavailability of the items, I asked him about it. I asked him why they are not sticking to the menu description while they fully stuck to the menu price. He blatantly lied to my face that it is in fact their bloody mary sauce. He practically told me, albeit in a very polite manner, "Eat whatever is available and leave. We have to many people to serve."
Now to the cheating part. They asked me what platform I reserved on. I said Zomato. They immediately instructed their waiter to tell me that draught beer is not available. I saw that they were serving draught beer to others even after. I understood it was because they were selling draught beer at normal prices, which would be a very good for the customer under the zomato deal. But they were selling canned beer at double the normal price as part of "get the second can cheap" in-house deal (which could not be clubbed with zomato deal). I have been in the commercial side of business for more than two decades and understand all the tricks and turns of sales. Whatever they say, this can be termed as cheating.
Finally the verdict. There are a lot of up-scale pubs and resto bars in Electronic City which you can visit in the budget of Gilly's. These guys have made their interiors up-scale, but their behaviour is as good as any local watering hole or desi bar only.
PS- The actual waiters were well behaved and eager. But they senior guys and kitchen staff are well...
Read morePlace is large and can accommodate big crowds. The entry is not inspiring as it's situated on the 6 the floor - basically the terrace of the building which had been converted to a two level setup - and the access to this is via a tiny 4 person lift or the stairs and this can test the patience during busy hours as the wait for the lifts will be endless. Once inside the ambience is good. The buffet is at one corner of the floor and the rest has seating for 40 to 50 ppl. There is an additional upper floor which might have similar arrangement. One has to make a nice long walk to the buffet every time you need a refill and this is cumbersome. Also can expect long queues at the buffet. The food options was good for veg, nonveg and desserts. The food quality was also good and all items were promptly being refilled. There is a small dedicated bar area with high chairs for small groups or couples and one can also order drinks at the tables too. There is a small dance floor area with dj equipment too. The lower floor is completely enclosed with no outside views except for a few large glass sky light windows on one side. The upper floor might be more airy though. The service was quick and good and enough attention is paid to the patrons by the service staff who are polite and friendly. There is no parking space even for two wheelers. There is valet parking and there is a large private paid parking towards the left of the premises on the adjacent side road. All considered, the pricing is reasonable for the ambience, food and the...
