How come I didn't try this restaurant before!! I have been visiting Chikmagalur from 7 Years and I didn't tried this famous restaurant among locals till recently.

Anyway, the location is perfect as it is located at the end of the MG Road where roads to the many destination meets & where the major shopping outlets are located. For the same reason, it's always crowded.

They have both service (with seating) wing & self service wing (without seating). Both wings are always super busy as the pricing is quite on the moderate side & due to its location.

Service is kind of average and you can't expect much also considering the pressure they have. Anyhow, once you place the order food will arrive on time.

Food is awesome here. I love crispy & tasty masal dose, vada, idli & bonda soup in here. Many hotels, serviced apartments in the city offer breakfast to their customers from this restaurant only through parcel / catering. I also like the authentic filter coffee in here. Overall, there is no question about the quality of food.

They accept QR Code Based payment & Cash only. There is no dedicated parking for this restaurant. For two wheelers it's easy to find public parking around & good luck with 4 wheeler parking on weekend & busy hours.

Worst place to visit ever. First of all when we arrived, they didn't say they are reaching the closure time. They simply took all the orders and took around 15 mins to get the food. After that everything was a disaster. They kept soup, starter, main course everything on the table together along with the bill. And as soon as we started having it they started cleaning floor, removing all the chairs, switching off the fan, sweeping the floor. Really the worst hospitality. How could we even have our food, when they are removing dust on the floor right there. Then we asked them to pack our food and give us. Infact even when we were paying bills, the workers were so relentlessly mopping the floor and floor was completely filled with dirty water. It was even reaching our feet while they were mopping. We complained the same to the owner during billing, and he was so irresponsible that he didn't even try to apologise or say anything abt it. Guys this is not the way you treat your customers. We are not eating free of cost. You guys need to definitely learn atleast basics of how to treat customers otherwise quit running such business. Such a worst experience.
