Had been to zesto, the multi cuisine restaurant within the complex of Aadrika hotel.
Everytime I passed sy on this street while moving around the name Aadrika was quiet visible for me and after about 7 months of being a vegetarian I really wanted to relish some non-veg food and gave zesto a shot, something that I don’t regret doing.
The place has a tucked in interiors, with chic lighting, and comfortable seating . And has a in-house bar attached if you prefer to have some cocktails with your meal. We were welcomed warmly and were promptly seated.
And as seafood - actually fresh fish was not available, the chef Mr Tony guided us in making our food choices. This is best part about zesto - they are not serving stale food just to push what’s in the menu onto your plates.
And we chose to have Chicken cafreal and chicken cheese Shammi kebab for the starters
Really loved the chicken cafreal preparation. It was a delight for our palettes as the dish was a Goan preparation and was made with fresh ingredients and had the right amount of spiciness. And tender chicken used in making was an added advantage.
Chicken cheese Shammi kebab was a slightly bland preparation and the right amount of flavours and I personally loved the cheese stuffing in it.
Paired this along with whiskey and a mock tail. Mock tail was prepared really well.
As I wanted to try mutton knee a curry chose to pair it with Kai kadubu - mutton knee a curry was simply delicious. Choice of meat for the dish and the preparation both hit the nail in right spot.
To end the day on a sweeter note ragi halubai and coffee flan were my choices of desserts.
DO NOT MISS HALUBAI HERE. Very well plated, perfect texture and right amount of sweetness Makes it delectable. Again, the black jaggery used in making this one adds up as guilt free indulgence and makes it diabetic friendly.
Coffee flan was again the best choice. Subtle taste of coffee, no egg smell. And was beautifully plated.
If you are looking for a restaurant with chic intereriors, attentive service and a lip smacking food do pay a visit to Zesto at Aadrika you will not be...
Read moreResponse to your msg Zesto :- I'm sorry, but your apology is not acceptable. There are so many customers who have raised the same issues since months & years, and you people have not done anything to rectify it. The issue still continues till date. What are you even doing on receiving the feedbacks from customers?? Just sitting on it & not trying to improve on your services. I'LL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO VISIT YOUR NOT RESTAURANT. IT'S WASTE OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC AND HORRIBLE SERVICE!!
We visited Zesto today after seeing the reviews. BIG MISTAKE! PLEASE DON'T VISIT IT OR GO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The forks, spoons & plate that was given to us was not cleaned properly. There were food particles on them. Disgusting!
The table was not cleaned and had food stains on it.
We were told it'll take 15-20 mins for our food to arrive. But it came after 40 mins.
Our food was not at all hot. It was not warm either. But it was very late & we were already hungry, so had the cold food as we didn't have an option.
We ordered fresh lime soda. It was over 15 mins and still no sign of it. In the end we told them to cancel the order & to get the bill.
The washrooms (both ladies & gents) were not at all clean. Details below:- •]There was no stock of toilet tissue papers inside the toilets nor outside. •]There was water all over the floor inside the toilets. •]Customers who visited the washrooms before didn't even flush and urine was all over the WC and maybe even on the floor mixed with the water as it was stinking. •]No staff was there to clean the washrooms.
I'LL NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WE HAD AFTER...
Read moreI would like to take a moment to thank Adrika Hotel for maintaining excellent standards in food and service.
Being a native of Chikkmagalur, I rarely come across such consistency in service, ambience, and food — here, it all comes together beautifully.
A special thanks to the entire team, starting from GM Brian, Vidhya at the reception, and Ishan at the restaurant service, along with a few others who always carry a smile and a warmth that makes guests feel comfortable.
Over the past two days, as I visited for work nearby, I had the chance to experience breakfast, lunch, and dinner here — and each meal turned into something memorable to share and refer.
I especially want to appreciate Ishan for his hands-on approach in explaining every dish and for being so thoughtful to quickly bring me a bite when I mentioned I was hungry. Small gestures like these reveal the true spirit of a service team. Especially when he refused to take service tips. It was indeed a commitment to work than a expectations to impress. Every interaction leaves me with a warm memory of dining here.
I would also like to thank the chefs, Chandrashekhar and Beeru, for their efforts in creating dishes that complement the experience.
This is definitely a place I would visit again — for the hygiene, service, and ambience. While food taste may vary with time, as of today, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thank you, Team Adrika, for making my time here special. I just couldn't click pictures - i was in complete enjoying my time, next time yes not...
