Vivikta Pure Veg @ Aadrika — Restaurant in Karnataka

Hopped in to have dinner on a late Sunday night before leaving Chikmagalur. Place was mostly empty as it was approaching closing time which is 10:30. We ordered veg manchow soup and baby corn peshawari tandoori for starters. Both the items were really very tasty. Staff was very polite and courteous. They told us that since it's almost closing time we should order the main course. We ordered veg fried rice and chilly paneer in semi gravy. Again both items were really soothing and tasty. Not overly powerful with flavours yet tasty. Just the kind of food we were looking for. Staff did not rush us at all even when all guests left and only we 2 people were left. This is something that we were really impressed with. Since we were already full and didn't want to waste, we asked them to pack the main course leftovers which they did without any packing charges. Total bill was around INR 1000 for two people. Quantity was more than sufficient and taste was good. Service was also quick. Justifies the cost completely for a fine dining place. Would definitely recommend if looking for a vegetarian meal near...

Service and atmosphere is good. But food is not upto the mark of its star.

Worst rasam based soup, wheat roti was hard and dry like prepared earlier. Some starters weren't properly cooked (Hara bara), North veg curry was like South Indian style, Peas Pulao was more like Chitranna style, Kichidi was salty, Curd rice was made from old rice crushed in a mixer and preserved in the freezer. Just at the end of the lunch the stomach started bloating and there was a sensation of loose motion. Some food was either improperly cooked or unscientific combination is made due to which there was stomach upset. Being a localite I hardly prefer any North Cuisines in my hometown. Due to the rush of tourists the quality of food almost everywhere seems to be compromised. Be careful about your stomach...

Surprisingly they dont have thali meals of any category. All ala carte only. The access to this hotel is through the auto and taxi stand close to the busstand . Food was good. Service also good. But the table items like salt, pepper etc are kept without anything refiled. It shows the poor work force and supervision failure. Dont go with cash. They simply say no change is available so pay by gpay. Another planning failure. Its a big facility. But somehow we felt like employees are not working full heartedly. Hospitality is missing. If they care about small things their standards...
