I recently dined at Maharaja Restaurant with high hopes, especially after hearing about their biryani from reviews. However, my experience turned out to be a bit mixed.

Great place to enjoy some delicious non veg food, especially mutton dishes! The place is at a central location and easy to find.

The mutton fry and the mutton biryani here is absolutely fabulous and both quality and quality of the dish is amazing! The mutton chilly too was mesmerizing - felt flavorful and fresh. They also serve delicious chicken dishes - we tried the chicken kebab and chicken tandoori malai and it was really good. The menu is loaded with veg and non-veg options and they have rotis , gravy dishes , and even Chinese but I wouldn’t recommend Chinese here. The place is most popular for their biryanis and starters, and they do a great job with their specialities!

There are also soft drinks and desserts available. Nothing notable to call out but the taaza drink (bottled) we had was very refreshing and complimented the food very well.

The place has comfortable seating and is kept very clean as well. The service too was quick and the servers were very polite and courteous. Overall this is a great place for enjoying a tummy full of delicious food with friends or family.

✅We opted for the Hyderabadi Biryani Family Pack instead, but honestly, it was disappointing. The biryani was very dry, lacked proper masala, and didn’t have the authentic Hyderabadi taste. For any true biryani lover, this one misses the mark — 2/5 ⭐

✅Pahadi Kebab - 4/5 ⭐ The Pahadi Kebab, however, was delicious! Tender and flavorful, it practically melts in your mouth.

✅Sweet Lassi - 10/10⭐ The real highlight here is the Sweet Lassi! It’s absolutely amazing, and worth coming back just for that. We loved it so much we ended up ordering four of them.

✅Buttermilk - 5/5⭐ Another standout item! Refreshing and perfect for quenching thirst — the ideal drink to balance the meal.
