New Shivabagh Café is a great place for vegetarian food lovers. This pure vegetarian restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, from rotis and rice to Chinese-style veg options and street food like chaat, there's something for everyone.
If you’re looking for a good breakfast, this Restaurant opens early, before 7 AM. Their Mangalore buns and masala dosa are my favorites in the morning.
The rice thali is a real winner at lunchtime, filling and worth every penny at just ₹80. I also tried the bread Manchurian, which was very tasty and a rare dish they only serve occasionally. The paneer Manchurian was also delicious but a bit expensive at ₹160.
In the evening, they have many pakodas and snacks like pani puri, bhel puri, and dahi puri.
The Restaurant provides ample seating, including an AC section that’s perfect for dining with family and friends during the noon rush. The atmosphere is chilled and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a pure vegan meal at any time of day.
One downside is that some of the side dishes are a bit costly. Also, they only accept cash or Paytm UPI, not cards💳.
Overall, New Shivabagh Café is a fantastic choice for tasty and varied...

It can get crowded, especially during peak hours. Limited menu - focuses on South Indian vegetarian cuisine. If you're after a fancy night out, this isn't it. But for a delicious, authentic, and affordable taste of Mangalore, New Shiva Bhag Cafe is a must-try! Just be prepared for a potentially crowded and...

We were made to wait for around half and hour ..where we ordered just one simple dish
Also I highly insist the waiters to be aware of the dishes in the menu prior to attending the customers which saves time ..rather than giving false hope about dishes available in the menu during the peak hours For instance we ordered Appam kurma and Neer dosa ( quite prominent Mangalore dishes) which was mentioned under the breakfast section in the menu but it was not available..
This will eventually lead to losing tourists and may be a huge loss
Otherwise the food was...
