Good restaurant in chikmagalur town.we visited for lunch, not stayed in hotel, but when insee the price it is cheap. Ambience is good.food taste is good, recommendable for couple of dishes, but some food taste and quality are not that good. We visited on weekend, but the crowd is manageable. And the place and ambience is good for family dining. The highligh is it is located in the center of the town near chikmagalur bus stand. We ordered various dishes, but recommendable is their chicken lollipop, which taste very good, and we tried briyani, in that mutton briyani is good, chicken is not that tasty. And for chicken briyani you will get natty style briyani and for mutton you will get ascot briyani style. And the grill is okay, we feel it is bit dry. And the pepper chicken dry is not recommendable, it only has coriander leaves and capsicum, no pepper taste and the chicken is also not tasty, juices will be good, but not preferable. Friemd rice is actualy worst, taste like masala powder. Not a budget friendly reataurent, bit costly for the taste what they are serving.the service is not that good, one tall guy serviced us, he can't understand what we are asking, and the serving food also gets delayed. We asked for couple of items soups, sea food he told this food will take long time for preparation. Already there is delay in serving normal food so we didn't try it. But overall good one, good for family dining. Don't expect much....

First of all the staff was so rude and did not even give us time to decide from the menu. We ordered paneer chilli, paneer biryani, tandoori roti and kaju masala for our veg eaters. Paneer biryani was made of small grain rice which is generally used to make khichadi at home and was smelling burnt. When we complained the server behaved rudely with everyone on the table. When asked to call their manager he said main hi hu idhar. Paneer chilli tasted like fried paneer and pieces of onion and capsicum were quickly stir fried in tomato ketchup, tandoori roti was made of maida. Above everything the server's behaviour pissed us and...

I ordered a Paneer Biryani as a vegetarian, but what arrived was a nightmare – it was mixed with chicken pieces and bones! This kind of negligence is unacceptable, especially for people with dietary restrictions and personal beliefs.
When I confronted the manager, he simply offered a replacement, but the damage was done. I refused and made it clear that I’d report this experience. They didn’t charge for the dish, but that hardly makes up for their disregard.
Vegetarians, avoid this place at all costs! This experience was a complete letdown, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go...
