• Recently I visited this cafe named @knightowlcafe located near SCS hospital which gives your great ambiance with outside sitting with road view and inside sitting with beautiful lights and simple classic interior . Following the covid norms the cafe restarted with introducing new items in the menu . So I started with ✨Thai Coconut rice : gives you successlent flavours of coconut and rice was well coated with coconut flavours. Enjoyed eating every bite of it . ✨Gong Bao chicken : chunks of chicken spicy stir fried chicken with lots of peanuts veggies and chilli peppers and a basically a Chinese cusine and must try ✨Korean noodle soup : a bland a my first try soup with boiled veggies popcorn chicken and noodle gave a classy taste ✨ Vegetable stew with patir : popular kerla dish , soft thin patir and thick stew was a amazing combo . ✨Dragon chicken :A dry starter which is long sliced boneless chicken gave a info Chinese taste loved the flavours you guys will love it too ✨ Mongolian chicken : semi dry starter with some peppery taste juicy and soft chicken with nice presentation. ✨ Chicken tikka burger : best about this burger the buns were just so soft it was egg washed and the stuffing of Chuck's of tikka made this burger heavenly taste. ✨bbq chicken wings : saucy wings which was just satisfying my taste buds loved the coating of wings . ✨ Passion fruit mojito :was very refreshing ✨Oreo berry shake : this really has my heart best Oreo berry shake I have had till date . the worst experience I have ever had. I came with my friend and we sat for 5 mins as we were waiting for another friend so we did not order yet. but we were forced to order so we ordered a French fry and also bought a bottle of water. we did not plan on having a lot of food or drinks because it was evening and it's a cafe we did not think it was a rule that every single person has to give an order only then we can sit there. anyways, half an hour into this, we were sitting and having our french fry and talking, the guy idk who or what his name is, but he came with the bill and then after 5 mins again with the scanner even though we asked him if we can finish our food and leave because we literally had an entire plate of French fries in front of us. he came back AGAIN 10 mins later and at this point he was literally kicking us out. this is our first time here we have gone to MULTIPLE different cafes in Mangalore never had this been an experience. it was awkward and humiliating because there were 3 other customers in the cafe at the time so it wasn't like we were taking away other people's seats either. we got kicked out in an hour of being there. never coming back to this place again. this was my first time here and honestly it makes sense why your resturant is so empty all the time and why people only come there to smoke. please learn some management skills and customer services BECAUSE your staff was rude, and i think forgot that we are the customers and not there...

Indoor and Outdoor cafe setup at first floor; their outdoor setup is road view and looks beautiful after sunset; indoor is cozy and well-made; they have both Veg & Non-veg options. They have a small book shelf as well.

What I tried:

I came for quick dinner ! Ordered “Creamy Mushroom Sandwich”: They made this in brown bread and grilled; Mushroom filling was very tasty (I asked them not to put Mayo 😀); but it was not stomach full meal, complimentary “fries” sider and maybe some “salad” was missing; albeit I loved it overall!

Suggestion: Can have some fancy cutlery (optional) & improve food quantity and I am sure no tables will be empty for you guys.
