I came here with my friends during a holiday weekend when everything in Gokarna was busy. As one of the only luxurious hotels here, we expected that the food and service would be according to the expectation it showed in terms of design. However, it was completely disappointing. The food was decent, however the service takes forever to reach. We had to wait for over 55 minutes after ordering the main course. Even something as simple as chats takes over 45 minutes to reach the table. When we asked the waiter about the order, they ignored us and when we went to the reception desk, they were utterly rude to us and sent us away on the pretext that they are working on it. Additionally, the absolute ridiculousness is in the manner the waiters and the management take customer food orders. The waiters continuously take the wrong orders and forget to provide us with the food we ask. And they fight with the customers after sending extra unordered food saying that we have ordered it. In one instance, our group ordered 6 rotis and the waiter got us only 5 rotis, when we pointed this out, he got us another one and charged us for a total of 7 rotis. He even got us an extra curry that we never ordered and argued that we ordered wrong. When we reported this to the manager, the manager threatened us and then told that this money would be cut off from the waiter's wages. The management is completely unacceptable and does not take any responsibility for their inefficiency or irresponsibility. I had an absolutely delightful experience at Navaratna Udupi Pure Veg! The veg food was exceptional, boasting a wide array of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home.

We visited this hotel today and it was a pathetic experience.They have 2 sections non AC and AC . The AC section is being handled as if it's heaven.There was a lot of rush so we were sitting outside. My mother was thirsty so we asked for water. We didn't get water for 10 mins.After that we were moved to the AC section there also the same service.We said we have been asking for water and no one has served water still.The waiter also argued with us that the sections are different so he cannot take responsibility for not serving water.After that we just kept waiting for water and he banged the water bottle on the table. No glasses were kept. we didn't call anyone to place the order and kept waiting for someone to attend No one attended for a full 15 mins and after that the lady standing on the door came and asked why did you not place the order. Really pathetic service. I just hope the food is good. As expected the food was pathetic. They are charging also very much for pathetic food.This is the first Udupi place where we have gone through this experience. Please maintain your name at least and respect customers.

I am really surprised only 5 ratings reviews have been replied and no attention for bad reviews.I thought only our was such an experience but they have got so many such reviews from many customers.

You can fake it for some more time but wait and watch what happens when you don't value customers and keep arguing that too for pathetic food and...
