Royal Food Paradise — Restaurant in Karnataka

Had a horrible experience both in terms of taste and staff courteousness.

Firstly, Very limited Menu:No soups or beverages. Only 65s,manchuria s and fried rice. We ordered a baby corn 65 for starter.

Bad quality food, Uncourteous Staff and arrogant cook: Received Baby corn chilli instead of baby corn 65. We told the boy that we ordered baby corn 65, which is supposed be dry and has a besan coating. The boy said that this is how 65is made in gokarna. We tasted the baby corn and it was not boiled at all. We went to the manager and complained that neither it is the item we ordered nor it is cooked well. The cook suddenly came out and started arguing that this is baby corn 65. We showed him in Google, youtube how 65 looks and is made. Then he starts shouting that this is how 65 is made in Gokarna. He was trying to cover up his incompetence by shouting. The manager should never heve let the cook talk in that way. We instead asked him what he can offer that is a dry item. The cook said he cannot offer anything that is dry, especially for us. Did not see a more Uncourteous Staff anywhere.

Only pro is that it's right next to the bus stop for the travels and people have to either go to this hotel or another meals place when waiting for the bus at nights. This is the only reason this hotel is still running despite limited Menu, bad cooking and...

This restaurant is located near the Om beach road and it is quite accessible from Gokarna railway station. Most of the restaurants and shops in the area usually shut down before 8 pm but this restaurant operates until 12 pm We visited this restaurant with less expectations but we were quite impressed with the taste of all the dishes and the hygiene they maintained, we order Chicken biryani (must try), crab masala, fish plate, butter chicken, chicken chilli along with some parothas. The taste of crab masala and chicken biryani were excellent but we were disappointed with chicken chilli as it came with bones. Seafood Delight in Gokarana!

The Squid Kebab was absolutely delicious, and the Prawns Sukka with roti was equally amazing. The Fish Thali was decent, but what stood out was the kokum served as a side dish—I drank it as it is, and it was a burst of flavors that I truly enjoyed. The staff was incredibly sweet and even offered us extra bowls of kokum, which was a lovely gesture.
