Restaurant manager claims this is the best restaurant in Gokarna. I would slightly agree.
After disappointing day for exploring food on non season time, took one more leap of faith on the Google review and visited this place.
This restaurant was easy to spot from travel unlike other popular shacks and cafés in Gokarna.
As trend goes, place was quiet here today with no customers. But the enthusiasm of staff was nothing less. Received a warm welcome from their team.
I started my order by black tea but unfortunately I was present with black coffee. I never risk ordering coffee but this was really good. And I was glad about the accident. Namma chikmangaluru coffee estate rocks!!
For appetiser I went for chicken chilli dry. Must say it was good. Chicken coating was quite crispy and the sauce was decent but slightly on tangy side. I assume it was due to presence of tomatoes. But this does grows on you. It was good!
For main course, We went for Carbonara pasta. White sauce was quite dull with just cream and probably grated egg. Nuttiness of cheese was quite missing. In ingredients it says, Parmesan was supposed to be toppings to it. But didn’t feel it’s presence. I had causal talk with manager and he was quite sincere enough to to accept Parmesan was out of stock.
Not blaming the restaurant. Since it is a off season, it won’t make any point to stock inventory. But the intent of presenting quality food is always there. Another thing, found chicken slightly dry. But again understandable due to low customers, most of the food is frozen.
Ignoring my nit picking, food was good. Enjoyed the peaceful ambience and service that was provided.
Would definitely recommend this place during off season. I won’t say this place would satisfy your palate, but quality would be maintained at high standards unlike most restaurants at Gokarna trying to dump food on customer to clear inventory.
Can’t wait to comeback during season time. Price was reasonable for the...

Read moreHonestly is didn't find the resort worth it, Food is way expensive like 3star hotels, Better to have food in other near by restaurant/stays at very less price (Halfway resort is good place for food I tried South Indian Breakfast), Sadly I realised it on second day..
There is no pathway between the cottages , it's very difficult to walk around with family.. I am surprised how did it get 4+ rating, I guess most of REVIEW rating has come from FOREIGNERS ( I think, who feel anything as awesome if something is raw and habitual enough), I booked 2 cottages at cost of ard 6700/- (including tax) At the same price you can find AC rooms in place like Gokarna..
Cottages are not well built, bathrooms quality are poor, hammocks are all torn. only +ve i see is good location , but it's walkable from any other nearby resorts.. I wouldn't...
