The restaurant’s name is Fishland, and it offers seasonal fish, so some menu dishes may not always be available. Apart from fish, we tried the chicken lollipop, which was good, but it was served with a different chutney instead of Schezwan chutney. The chutney was thin and watery.

We also tried the egg masala, which had an average taste. The Anjali (Surmai) fish thali was good—the surmai fish was a large piece, and considering the portion size, the thali was reasonably priced.

Additionally, we ordered chicken Schezwan fried rice. The taste was average because they used regular rice instead of long-grain rice, which is typically preferred for Chinese dishes. However, given the area’s standards, it was acceptable.

When in Murdeshwar and you want to eat a fish then just head to Nayak Fishland. We had been to Murdeshwar for a trip and we had an overnight stay where we found many restaurants serving fish. On enquiring with a locality we got to know that Nayak Fishland is the place to go. When we reached we found out that all the seats are occupied and we had to wait for 5 mins till they arranged us a table. The food is really awesome. We ordered pomfret, surmai, prawns and chicken chettinad and everything was worth the taste. The cost is also very affordable. 1 waiter on 1st floor was a bit arrogant and we had to wait for a long time till the order arrived. He used to get aggressive when we asked for order. While leaving he spoke to us nicely but at start it was not pleasing. But the food was really good so we ignored the waiter and...
