The location couldn't be more fabulous than it was. To start with, the place either doesn't have a toilet, or the staff doesn't want you to go. The staff in general, and especially a grey haired man from the serving staff were incredibly curt to the point of being rude. The whole pace is dilapidated in terms of the building itself, which cannot be complained about as it gets battered by the salt & sulphur all the time, but the place looks orphaned to the point of looking dirty without proper upkeep. The food itself was not too bad, but a visit to a restaurant is an all round experience, and Naveen Beach resort loses out on the most important aspect, a welcoming human angle, and the second most important thing of entering a neat place. Have been to the place in better days, so it seems sad to see the indifference and casual attitude of the staff with them sitting on the restaurant tables and chairs chatting while customers are haplessly waving for attention, and they finally amble towards the customers as if they are being inconvenienced... The impression of an unhappy staff stands out the strongest when exiting the place. Hope it regains the charm of the...
Read moreNaveen Beach Restaurant promises a delightful dining experience, set against the backdrop of the picturesque sea. With a diverse menu and stunning ocean views, it's a haven for food enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
The culinary journey at Naveen Beach Restaurant is a savory delight, with each dish bursting with flavor and authenticity. From the delectable masala dosa to the comforting poori bhaji and set dosa, the food earns a commendable rating of 4.5 out of 5. And let's not forget the aromatic ginger tea, a perfect companion to the serene surroundings.
However, the dining experience is not without its hiccups. The limited number of waiters results in occasional delays and a rushed service. During my visit, our waiter accidentally dropped a tea glass while rushing from one table to another. Yet, he handled the situation with grace, promptly offering us the complimentary tea.
Despite these minor setbacks, the location, ambiance, and atmosphere of Naveen Beach Restaurant shine through. The seating arrangements ensure every diner enjoys a stunning sea view, creating a tranquil oasis...
Read moreAfter visiting the Murudeshwar Shiva Temple and the beach we decided to have lunch at the Naveen Beach Restaurant, which has been constructed on stilts at the edge of the beach. There are three levels and all floors have a central hall with a veranda where the tables have been laid out. We grabbed a table on the ground floor veranda and we got a beautiful view of the beach and the Arabian Sea. The tables on the other side of the veranda had a view of the giant Shiva statue and temple. We ordered Alu Gobi with Rotis and Curd Raitha. The food was freshly cooked and quite tasty. The service was average and the prices were reasonable. Seafood and other non-vegetarian dishes were also available as well as South Indian snacks like dosa, idli and wadas. The main attraction of this restaurant is the balcony seating if available. If it gets crowded you may not get a table outside. The weather has to be good, if it is too hot or rainy then you may not enjoy...
