Onesta — Restaurant in Karnataka

First of all, being a true indian, the word UNLIMITED attracted me. There's nothing more one could ask for, and that's what was reflected on me and my sister when we heard them saying this to us.

Actually i was going to order an unlimited pizza platter and my sister had ordered a few things individually, but plus point for the service there, the manager informed us that it's better we both ordered unlimited buffay, since otherwise the price difference would be negligible. And when we learnt that in the unlimited buffay, you can order anything, we both nodded in synchronisation. And then started our journey.

So I'll sum up our experience in the following table:

Cons : (Let me finish off with this first, since the list is too small) The pizza taste (especially margarita), wasn't up to the standard mark. Like it wasn't the most authentic, awesome taste that it should have been. One of the dessert, which had coconut grating added, tasted yuck.(actually most of the mousse tasted not so great, except the dark chocolate with peanut)

Pros : Excellent service, everyone, from the manager, the chefs, even the cleaners were very polite and had a vibrant smile. That really was a very good feeling. And added to their recommendation, it was really useful for us, both appetite wise as well as economy wise. The appetizers, They had offered us with their best of appetizers, and my goodness, they all tasted so heavenly. The pizza 🍕, Apart from the fact that, margarita wasn't that great, they all had thin crust. And that was dam good. Desserts, If and when you order the unlimited buffay, which i strongly recommend you do, don't order for their best of desserts, instead, try them individually from the desserts' list. Because, as i said earlier, not all will go well with your taste. Atmosphere, All i would say is, it's really good if you could go here and experience the whole thing in person. Words simply can't describe the feeling you get when you see your order coming to your plate directly from the kitchen, and yeah, talking about it, I'll come to the next point, The fantastic, open themed kitchen, It's one of a kind that you can find and can really enjoy here. Very unique and well implemented. And those smiling faces from the other side of the glass, is...

Visited the place after a very loong time ...We opted for veg unlimited buffet Potato wedges⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Paneer bullet⭐⭐⭐ Paneer tikka ⭐⭐⭐ Peppy paneer pizza ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mexican veggie delight ⭐⭐⭐ Pasta in tomato sauce ⭐⭐⭐ Death by chocolate cake ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tiramisu jar ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chocolate mousse jar ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Orange mint cooler ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Green apple cooler⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Virgin mojito ⭐⭐⭐

We ordered all these from the veg menu ...first we ordered starters potato wedges paneer bullet paneer tikka all tasted really good except their quantity was really really funny we got only two paneer bullet, and two sticks of paneer tikka which had only two-two paneer each in it and they served all three starters in a single plate I don't know why and gave very very veryy less quantity...thank god we opted for unlimited orelse according to the price it would have been really injustice...we again ordered potato wedges since it was too yummy 😋...

Next we got Mexican veggie delight from the main menu which I felt was lil sour and the paneer peppy pizza was delicious and juicy😋 Pasta was okay okay.. We had ordered for orange mint cooler and green apple mojito and the server got confused and he gave us the virgin mojito instead of orange mint cooler ..

Orange mint cooler is one of the best drink that I have tasted really loved it...

Over the years the taste which pizza had has been decreased alot and i can see only 3-4 members in the entire restaurant....They used to give us complimentary food in the beginning which wasn't served this time also there was no nachos which tasted soo yummy which I had eaten long back from the same restaurant and they have excluded it from the menu now... Other than that ambience is soo beautiful... peaceful place...

We had a very bad experience in this restaurant. They cheated us by billing us higher amount , later when they realised it , they apologized. They are taking extra service charges inspite of taking gst.on top of that the waiter was very rude to us. He was acting as if he is doing a favour by serving us, or as if he was not interested in what he was doing. It was clearly written that we can take parcels which we order at table.but the waiter bluntly said no. Such a rude behaviour is not at all expected from such a reputed hotel.recently I had been getting very bad reviews about this hotel from my friends , but I had not believed it .after visiting this hotel, I realized this particular branch does not meet even 10% of the standards of its branches of Manipal and bangalore . If anybody is planning to visit onesta , I would recommend Manipal, but a definite NO NO for Mangalore onesta.kindly avoid wasting your...
