Read moreI'll be honest, folks, this place blows Bombay Tiffany's out of the water when it comes to most chaat items, & other parameters (no shade, Bombay Tiffany's). Their Dahi Puri? - Next-level deliciousness - I would tie it with Bombay Tiffany's one, easily the one of best in Mysuru. Same goes for the Sev Puri - top-notch stuff.
Now, the Pani Puri wasn't mind blowing. The fillings could really use some work. You want the usual sweet and spicy? They got it. Feeling adventurous? Try their passion fruit (my personal favorite), chilli guava, or even jal jeera.
The outside seating might not be the best (think dusty road and houseflies - not ideal for a first date, if you both are chaat lovers). Read moreWe were looking for a place to enjoy some tasty chaat in Mysuru, and we found Pataka, which had good Google reviews. So, we decided to give it a try. The shop is located in a lively yet peaceful area with many other shops around, but it stood out with its unique charm. The atmosphere inside was pleasant, and it gradually filled up with locals.
It offers a wide range of chaat options. We ordered the green and white chole bhature and pav bhaji. What surprised us was that they were not greasy at all yet tasted fantastic. It didn't leave us feeling guilty, especially with the chole bhature. I highly recommend trying them. The pav bhaji was great too!
Besides chaat, they also have a variety of savory and sweet items for sale. I even noticed something intriguing: gulab jamun cheesecake. The seating is available upstairs and outside the shop. It's a self-service place, and the washbasin area was clean. I recommend Pataka for some tasty North Indian...
