In one line this place is hidden gem. I was travelling back fr chitradurga to Bangalore. A friend of mine took to this place saying it's a great restaurant for non vegetarian food. I searched on Map to see reviews, it wasn't listed. The street is also very small. But area itself is in prime center of Tumkur. The building looks old and you will have to climb two stories to reach but as soon as you enter, you will be thrilled. Its a fine mix of modern and classic ambience. Top class cleanliness. Tumkur surprises me with its food options and quality. Was looking for a nice non vegetarian food option. Came across Surabhi and it's satisfying. It was located on the second floor in one if the the busiest streets of MG Road.
5 stars for the quality of food. 3.5 stars for the ambience and cleanliness.
Ordered a Chicken meal. They had an option of Ragi Mudhe or Chapathi (2 Nos). 2 very well cooked chicken curries, one rasam type dish, some salad, one boiled egg and a cup of cucumber onion raitha. It was a power packed meal and was very much filling. Good option for pure non veg lovers.
