I recently visited Asife with my family, enticed by their bold claims of having the best biriyani. Unfortunately, the experience was quite underwhelming.

We ordered the Chicken 65 Biriyani, priced above ₹290. The biriyani portion was disappointingly small, and the quality left much to be desired. We received only five small chicken pieces, most of which were bones and neck pieces with very little meat. This was a far cry from the substantial and flavorful biriyani we had expected.

The cutlery items were misleading; the bowls appeared large but were shallow inside. This deceptive presentation meant that the raita, which was supposed to accompany the biriyani, was insufficient for our group of four. Additionally, the chutney served with the meal was burnt, further diminishing our dining experience.

In contrast, I had previously enjoyed biriyani from the Asife franchise in Kollam, which was significantly better in both taste and quantity. This inconsistency in quality across different branches is disappointing and raises questions about their quality control.

Despite the ample parking space at this location, the overall service was lackluster. The restaurant seemed busy, but the staff appeared to handle customers carelessly, adding to the overall negative experience.

In summary, Asife did not live up to its advertised reputation. The biriyani was subpar, the portions were small, and the service left much to be desired. Given the experience, I would not recommend this particular branch and suggest looking for better options in the area.
