During my recent visit to Cafe Moon by Sol Kitchen, I had the pleasure of sampling several dishes that showcased the restaurant's dedication to high-quality ingredients and exceptional preparation. Here's a detailed review of my experience:

Picanha Steak: The Picanha steak was an absolute highlight. Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the meat was tender and bursting with flavor. The steak had a beautiful sear on the outside, which added a delightful texture and smoky undertone. The seasoning was spot on, enhancing the natural richness of the beef without overwhelming it. Each bite was succulent, making this dish a must-try for any steak enthusiast.

Oklahomie Burger: The Oklahomie Burger was a delicious surprise. This burger featured a juicy, well-seasoned beef patty topped with charred sliced onion, cheese, in house sauce all sandwiched between a fresh soft, toasted bun. The combination of flavors and textures was perfectly balanced and the portion size was generous, making it a satisfying option for burger lovers.

Chicken Moon Bowl: For appetizer option, the Chicken Moon Bowl did not disappoint. The bowl included mashed potatoes, egg, chicken pieces served with mozzarella cheese. It was yum.

Hot Chocolate: To round off the meal, we indulged in their hot chocolate. This warm beverage was rich and velvety, with just the right amount of sweetness. Topped with marshmallow, it was the perfect comfort drink to end the evening. The deep, chocolatey flavor was satisfying without being overly sweet, making it a delightful treat for chocolate lovers. The drink is very heavy so it's recommended to share one ☺️

The worst streaks i ever had in cochin that is so expensive. First time when i went there I had a brisket. It was dry and tasteless. So when i asked them they told me briskets are like this. So the next time I bought a prime cut streak that i don't remember its name. Although it was a prime cut, it was so heavily salted that it became nearly impossible to enjoy, so i checked with the waiter and someone came to me and told me that the salt is as per weight they have added and implied that it is my mistake i couldn't enjoy this perfectly salted dish. After tilling me this he replaced it for me with a not salted steak. And a seperate bowl with rock salt. I tried to add the salt to the meat but failed terribly. From this event two things happen, not only was i able to enjoy this prime cut streak but also felt guilty for taking a replacement of a 700-800 rupees worth steak. So when i left the restaurant I talked the the guy and he told me that next time ask the waiter not add too much salt. So this time i did the same. I asked the waiter to give me a less salted steak.This time i ordered a ribeye and it cost me around Rs.1600, much to my surprise this time they served a steak that is both dry and suuuppper sally. I didn't take any replacement this time but I decided that I'm not coming back to this restaurant ever. It cost me 3k to 4k rupees to make this dicision. If anyone planning to go there please know that there are other restaurants who serve good steaks at lower or higher prices, and also they won't make you feel guilty of not enjoying what...

This place serves THE BEST burgers and pastas that I have ever tasted and possibly the best Steak in town.. They even have rubik's cubes, board games and chess board etc to pass some time or enjoy with your friends. Haven't you heard the saying "Big things come in small packages". That's what I would say about their CLASSIC BEEF BURGER. Don't feel sad by the small size of that single beef patty burger, the taste makes up for any lack of size. By the time you have taken the last bite, you'll be ordering seconds. The pastas you get here are a treat for your taste buds. I had tried ROSA DE PASTA CHICKEN on my previous visit and this time decided to try CHICKEN STROGANOFF PASTA. Both these dishes are out of this world. A 10/10 if I may.. They serve variety of tasty, healthy and refreshing drinks. PROBIOTIC PASSION FRUIT and THE BREEZE (redbull mocktail) both are very refreshing and tasty. TENDERLOIN (FILLET MIGNON) STEAK with mashed potatoes, butter sorted veggies and 2 special sauces. It was juicy, flaoursome and scrumptious. The sauces were both delicious.
