The view and ambience are great here, matched only by Eatmosphere.

The food is expensive. For the magnificent sunset view, you wouldn't mind paying for it.

The problem is the poorly-trained staff.

I have been there multiple times. I haven't had a bad experience except on my last two visits. A short girl attended our table both these times.

The first time was last Sunday. It was just me and my little son. There was just one chair at the table so I asked her if she could arrange one more.

She replied she couldn’t.

So I waited patiently for 10-15 minutes for a table to clear. Another staff came by later and the chair was arranged immediately.

I wanted to give a feedback right there and then, but I let it go. She looked frustrated. We can all feel blue and grumpy on some days. Nobody can be expected to be on their best behaviour all the time. It can happen to me too.

She attended our table today, and that's when I realized that the lack of training is to blame. She looked displeased the whole time. That's just the way she dealt with all customers.

Interestingly, she gave the menu card to my husband and talked to him about the orders, never once making eye contact with me. Even when I was talking to her, she pretended that I didn't exist. Every single time!

We couldn't stop laughing at how funny the whole thing was.

Is that also why she ignored my request for a chair last time — Because I am a woman and my requests don't matter?

Dear owner, please understand that as good as your food is, I don't want to pay 100 Rs for tea unless I am also paying for a nice time with my family and friends.

I don't think waiters should plaster a smile on their faces all the time. But the least you can do is not disrespect your customers.

To retain customers, please focus on making them feel welcome.

That said, I haven't had a bad experience with the rest...

But the real highlight was the Sulaimani tea—its rich aroma and authentic flavor captured the essence of traditional Kozhikode, making it a must-try.

The café’s ambiance complements the meal beautifully. With an inviting, cozy vibe and an open beach view, it’s an ideal spot to relax and unwind. Sitting by the beach with a cup of their Sulaimani tea made for a serene experience, allowing us to take in the sounds and sights of the shoreline. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall welcoming feel.
