Soya bean Fry: Rs 50/- (150gm)
Hello Foodies, Jaffarkka’s soya bean fry is a nostalgia among almost everyone around Kozhikode. This item was served for more than 15 years by the one and only Jafarkka. Earlier he used to sell it on a cart by moving across places like SM street, St Josephs school area etc. I used to search for him whenever I visit SM street. Trust me guys you might have never tasted a soya fry like this before. The spices along with pure coconut oil makes it even more tastier and the aroma is so damn good. This is not deep fried. This place was opened couple of years back and now they offer dine in ans take away. For dine in they have a small space which can accommodate around 5-10 people inside and outside. Take away option is also available, and the tooth pick provided will help you pick each soya bean and enjoy it. You can club it with Porotta, Chapatti, Nice Pathiri, Appam, Noolputtu and even Khuboos that’s what they offer there. You can also have it as a snack or can club with your rice.

Read moreJust had an incredible meal from Jaffer Ka Soyabean. We tried their signature Soyabean Fry with Parotta, and it was absolutely excellent.
The soyabean fry is a masterclass in flavor. You can tell it's cooked with coconut oil, which gives it a wonderful aroma and a distinct, rich taste. It's packed with the perfect kick from chilli flakes, the pungent punch of pepper, garlic and a blend of masalas that makes it utterly addictive.
A small tip for future visitors: We ordered 150gms for one person with two parottas, but honestly, 100gms is the perfect portion for two parottas. The 150gms was very generous, so you can order accordingly.
They also have an amazing variety of breads. We saw options like Pathiri, Kubboos, Chappathi, Katti Pathiri, Nool Puttu,...
