Connexions — Restaurant in Kerala

Wanted to spend some quality time and reached here on recommendations! Sad to say….totally disappointed. Choice of liquor was ok….but crockery used for cocktails worthy of ‘street corner chai place’. Music was lively…but decor and seating ….sleazy….cheap and a total disappointment. Choice of food bits extremely poor. The effort of staff in engaging with customer…suggesting options in menu, seating, alternate options….pathetic. To add to the insult we a had multiple ‘house flies’ for company on the food and drinks …provided ‘on the house’ by staff. Level of hygiene overall was pathetic! It took multiple reminders and twenty minutes for somebody from housekeeping to arrive with an electric swatter! Imagine a fine dine..bar ambience….with somebody going around you with an electric swatter…killing them….and further...

I had a delightful evening at Connexions, a premium bar with the ambiance of a high-end restaurant. The indoors seating was comfortable, and I enjoyed some beers, Kanthari chicken, the chef's special egg omelet, and Bullseye. The staff were attentive and took orders promptly. The restaurant's black theme and soft rock music created a calming atmosphere. However, I visited during the afternoon, and the outside light was somewhat distracting.
