SkyGrill Fusion Tapas & Lounge — Restaurant in Kerala

It's alright, a fantastic spot that has been under-utilised by the management, The entrance to the Lounge is hypnotic, but once you pass the doors, the interiors and furniture disappoint being run of the mill stuff that doesn't exude luxury, that one would expect. During the rains the open seating area gets totally disused, having large table umbrellas, and strategically placed rollout awnings could make the place perfect for a chilled rainy day vibe, and seat a lot more people for the available space, the same goes for the inside area, where tables and seating could be increased considerably with lots of space to spare. The restroom being outside, one would have to endure the weather to use it, and my fellow party goes did get drenched having to use it after one too many beverages. As for the services, I'll say it was okay at best, staff were well dressed but not sprightly, the management should think about keeping well-rested staff...

Got seated at the outside space. The spot is amazing with a very neat Ambience to go with the place. The staffs are courteous and friendly, and the tables are set with enough private space between them.

They don't provide a menu card now, it is all digital thanks to Covid. The menu is a totally different thing, being exposed to Chinese, Arabic and Indian as continental, this menu puts that to shame. So it gets some time to understand the menu and place an order.

Once order is placed, it do take a normal 20-30 minutes time to get. But with this place, we don't mind spending some time waiting undisturbed.

The food is awesome with the right everything. The pizza was great, the chicken steak was excellent, and the whole dishes were mouthwatering.

And we would be served alcohol at the table, till 9PM. Then they close.

Food Bill can be paid via Zomato, and for a pro member, you will get a 25% flat discount, more than the 18% tax...

In my humble opinion, Sky Grill is simply the best restro lounge in Kochi. Right from the entrance, entree to entertainment, they have got it all covered.

Ambience 5/5 Well light, classy and elegant ambience. Beats any other five star property hands down.

Service 10/5 Mr. Aaron was serving us and his energy level matched up with the ambience. Super friendly, knowledgeable and lovely character. He recommended Popcorn Whiskey for drinks, though it sounds weird but the drink was bomb and is totally recommended.

Food 4/5 Very limited vegetarian options, otherwise food is top notch. Veg Pasta, maybe the only vegetarian main course option was rather uncooked and bland.

Also, a big shout out to the in-house magician! Jolly fellow with pretty interesting tricks up his sleeves. (Entertainment 10/5)
