One of the best available biriyanis in cochin. Must try biriyani joint. We tried chicken biriyani and chicken biriyani from here. Both was mindblowingly delicious and had a unique flavor. Chicken biriyani was a mild in masala but had a strong flavour in rice which will blow your mind for sure. I just how they made such a flavorful rice without too much of masala. The chicken in the biriyani was cooked to perfection. Was tender, soft and succulent. Biriyani was accompanied by a pickle which dates and tamarind i think and with vegetable salad with a tangy flavor of vinegar which went so good biriyani. Both the sides complimented the biriyani very much and went well with it. Chicken fry was also soft and tender. Chicken was marinated and fried, itself tasted so well. After frying, chicken was further sauted with onions, garlic, curry leaves, chilly flakes and with a finishing touch of vinegar which gives it a surtle tangy flavor which makes the dish unique. All together it was a great experience and a real treat. For both the dishes price to quantity proportion was great. Highly recommended, Must try for all those biriyani...
Read moreI used to be a big fan of their mutton biriyani back when the restaurant was near PS Mission Hospital in Maradu. Now, they’ve moved closer to Kundanoor Junction and operate as a kiosk within the Nadan Vibe collaborative shop setup. I’m not sure if the old restaurant relocated here or if this is a new venture by someone else using the same name. That said, the biriyani style remains similar to the original.
The setup is simple—just a kiosk where you place an order with advance payment, and you can use the shared dining space.
Their biriyani is a unique style with long-grain rice, minimal masala, and perfectly cooked meat, which was their signature. However, not everyone may like this style. Unfortunately, while the preparation seems the same, it doesn’t quite feel as good as before. I’ve tried it three times, but it hasn’t matched the old taste.
The pricing is reasonable, but the shared parking and dining area can be challenging to manage...
Read moreAverage to be honest! I got it delivered directly by the restaurant and the delivery was fast and promt. I ordered it for 150+ rs 10 delivery charge
The Chicken Biryani which I ordered had salad and dates pickle along with it, which tasted really good.. The taste overal was 3/5 and I would say it's a biriyani worth if costed 120 per.
The rice was good but didn't give me that feel a biriyani lover seeks.. it was not a proper mix of chicken gravy and rice. Both tasted like 2 different dishes.
I would suggest, a little more addings to your recipe making it like a proper Chicken Biryani and adding of a papad, egg , and a lemon pickle could help you capture the foody...
