Worst food for the price. I had many restaurant buffet in the past. Might have few food taste bad but never had while food taste bad. Only had one juice (which was surprising) shrimp soup taste like shrimp curry with water rather than a soup (probably they reused a curry) didn't even feel fresh. salad didn't had any good options or flavour. Nothing that gonna impress u anyway . Starter snacks was oily and taste like Just crispy dough. Hyderabad veg briyani was way too spicy. With overcooked feeling. Thalassery briyani was okeey. Live counters was surprisingly low quality items. Sardines where cooked not live but was at live counter. Basa was tawa fish of the day. Who thought basa at 5 star hotel. Chicken wings was way too oily. And was too saucy too. Normally sauce add while cooking. But sauces where already dried. They just reheating things. Now comes other main dishes. Chicken curry taste so bad i couldn't had more than one. Mutton tasted like aged. That bad. And other no veg i didn't even wanna eat. Veg wasn't much different. By then i had lost my appetite and moved to desert. Which was considered okeey compared to my overall. Payasam wasn't payasam by the way semia milk n sugar that's it. No effort. U won't feel it. Cakes was okey. Pudding was below avg. Anyway desert chocalte lawa cake and few pastry was good. And there wasn't anything for diabetics or eggless options. Anyway never wanna eat from there again. I think owners need to visit others places in kochi especially taj Malabar...

We went for a buffet dinner with family last week, and once again, it was an amazing experience. This restaurant, located on the second floor of Crowne Plaza Kochi, continues to impress. Having been here a couple of times before, I can confidently say it has become one of our favorite spots for a relaxed yet elegant dining experience.

The ambiance is top-notch—spacious, well-lit, and beautifully designed to create the perfect setting for both casual and special occasions. It offers a more refined atmosphere compared to the restaurant on the first floor.

The buffet spread was extensive, with a wide variety of dishes across cuisines. Everything we tried—from the soups and starters to the desserts—was delicious and well-prepared. There was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. The live counters were an added highlight, offering fresh, made-to-order items.

What stood out as always was the customer service. The staff were attentive, courteous, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. The overall value for money is excellent, especially considering the quality of food and the pleasant setting.

My experience with Crowne Plaza was not that great. We were 9 members and booked through Zomato Dinein on 26/04/2025. I chose the Ala Carte menu with 25% off since kids were there and buffet didnt seem worth it. However, the moment I reached the place, there was a constant nudge to move to buffet. First they informed that 25% offer is not available. When I showed them the zomato offer, they changed their stand and started negotiating for buffet with 50% off. They offered even complementary charges for kids. They calculated packages with 50% off which seemed attractive and I fell for it. However, when the final bill came, zomato was applying only 25% discount and not 50%. When I asked they said I had chosen 25% discount while booking. I asked them the rationale for then negotiating with me for buffet without advising a change to the booking done already in Zomato. There was no reply from the lady except that that she couldnt do anything. Forget the extra price, we felt cheated as we were tricked into something which we never expected.
