Currymeen — Restaurant in Kerala

This property was early known Baker's Bungalow, now Taj Kumarakom. Located ideally in a scenic Kumarakom landscape. We had our lunch at Currymeen restaurant (AC indoor). Some items were hit while some were misses. We were very well served & helped by Mr Alan Abraham. For Lunch as Starters we had Masala Fried Prawns & Sweet Corn Chicken Soup. For main course we had Kerala Style Rice accompanied with traditional Avial & Rasam + Allappey King Fish Curry. As desserts we had Tender Coconut Souffle. The reason why I have given only 3 stars for the food is cause our expectations were not met especially this being a 5 ⭐ property by Taj. The food was not bad, but it could have been better & the Menu honestly felt very short n limited, like out of options. Hope this...

Regional food here is amazing. Try Malabar Fish Curry with Appams. Service and staff are outstanding at any Taj and Currymeen is no different. They were polite and helpful. They helped us decide what all to try in local food. And their recommendations were nice.
