Lakshmi Hotel & Resorts — Hotel in Kerala

I recently stayed at this hotel resort and wanted to share my experience. The atmosphere of the resort was pleasant, and the cost of the stay was reasonable. However, I was disappointed with the condition of the hut that was provided to me.

The room was not well maintained, as there were broken pipes in the bathroom, which caused inconvenience during my stay. Additionally, I noticed blood stains on the bed, which was quite unsettling and unsanitary.

Moreover, the restaurant at the resort was also lacking in cleanliness. The tablecloths were dirty, which affected the overall dining experience.

Considering these issues, I believe the hotel resort should improve their maintenance and cleanliness standards to provide a better experience for their guests.

Overall, while the atmosphere and cost were satisfactory, the room and restaurant cleanliness were major letdowns. I hope the management takes these points into consideration for future...

Stayed one night here on our trip around India. The hotel complex itself is nice. |Our room was spacious with a balcony on each side. The one in the back even overlooking rice fields and you can watch the sunrise with loads of birds flying around.|The room itself had some minor 9n though communication in English was hardly possible. Waiters did their best to please us. We've been really disappointed by breakfast though. Not sure how some other reviews claim the seafood is fresh. See the photos to see all the food we left behind after a bite each. In short, skip this place and go to one of the highly rated Toddy shops in the area, like Thollayiram Chira. If you'd rather something a little nicer, spend a little more and go to currymeen or one of the other restaurants at the Taj. Details of our experience below:

Tried the karimeen fry and pollichathu, the fish in both tasted stale. Even the chicken in the chicken 65 appetizer did not taste fresh. Also, the oil they use to fry everything tastes old and reused way beyond what one should. To make matters worse the chutney and other dips they bring out at the start had hair in it.
