Ecstasy beach shack. @ marari — Restaurant in Kerala

This was the biggest ripoff I have had in India. I have been in India since January 12th. I ordered fish masala flavored king fish. I was served, after almost an hour, 2 very thin, small pieces of fish. I had asked for it to be spicy. I received boring, cardboard, english style with no spice or chili fish. Mcdonalds has more flavor. I had a bill of 980INR. I confirmed with the waitress that the fish was 800INR. I laughed at what a ripoff it was and that it was similarly priced to California. She thought the price was funny. I guess she thought cheating people was funny some how. I would never go to this place again. I would hope that if you read this you would not waste your money...

We had a disappointing dinner there, after reading all the good reviews. The heavy and loud techno music is a matter of taste I guess. The food we had (grilled fresh fish, fried prawns and grilled tiger prawns) tasted good, but the portions are very small and overpriced. Side dishes were all out of stack at 7pm, so they gave us „garlic bread“ wich was just tasteless toast. We payed 2500 rupees for the dinner and were still hungry, so we went to another place afterwards. Just the ambience was ok.. not even comparable to any other restaurants in cherthala. The burgers and sandwich qualities were not at all acceptable. Suggesting the restaurant to please visit and learn how to prepare sandwiches and burgers from similar cafes like le bon, papilop and even a few small cafes nearby cherthala, where we get much much even better burgers and sandwiches with lesser price
