One of the worst eating out experiences in the recent past. Firstly if you’re going by car, it would be prudent to park the car on the main infopark expressway instead of trying to navigate inside the small road this is situated in.
Food: we ordered two meals and neymeen fry. Ozhichu kootan was a joke. We asked for Sambar and he pointed to a vessel with Rasam. Actually the sambar had been diluted with so much water that any layman will think it’s rasam. Pulisheri was also bland. Fish fry was probably the most bland and under cooked neymeen fry I have had in the recent past. So bad. There wasn’t any salt only a lot of chilly paste on top of it. Tasteless.
Service: in a typical restaurant like this you won’t expect much service except the bare minimum. Bare minimum was also not achieved here. We had to ask for water and glasses. How long does it take to give meals? I mean your whole usp is serving meals! Just asked in passing if we need any refilling. In case you missed his lightning quick check, you have to then wait for another 5 mins for someone else to come around.
Atmosphere: ambience is good. But it was hot as hell. Fans were there but no use. Could see chaps from infopark sweating with their full sleeves and tucked in shirts.
When we went to pay they said they don’t accept cards. Seriously? Waste of time and money....

Read moreI tried their fish curry meals along with a huge fish fry. The fish curry meals were priced at Rs 180. The sides were average and we were not served with some side dishes. The fish fry was huge but it was bland with loads of masala just on top of it. So we had to mix the flesh with the separately kept masala to feel some sort of taste, which was disappointing. For a change, a huge bottle of rice water (kanji vellam) is kept on every table. I recommend this for people who need a change from their usual meal place. There are three meal places right next to it, all priced at Rs 60 and along with fish fry it comes around 100-130. If you can compromise on ambience , the other three places are far more...
