Hotel Annapoorna — Restaurant in Kerala

Let me tell u, my first impressions were not great. The place was extremely crowded for a Sunday morning. Cleanliness near the wash area and the general ambience was below average. But anyway we had parked our car in the limited parking space and did not want to go hunting for a good breakfast, so we settled down. In comes our ghee roast with vada and coffee (after waiting for sometime) and the moment I took a bite, my heart melted. Now, I always order a ghee roast for breakfast when outside. Its like I am the ghee roast guy in the group and this one was super crisp and just the way I wanted. I have never been a huge fan of vadas though, but this one was one of the best vadas that I have had in recent times. It was even better than the ghee roast. So after the food, I forgave them. Hotel Annapoorna on MC Road at Perumbavoor is really good for vegetarian food be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. Fresh and tasty dosas, iddli, vada etc for breakfast, nice South Indian meals for lunch and Masala Dosa, Oothappam, Ghee roast etc for dinner are few selections. The restaurant is well maintained with sufficient seats and the service is excellent. Though crowded most of the time, the staff will arrange seats for everyone and the service is also fast. Stay away from this dirty restaurant. Utterly bad behaviour.... They were not ready to serve I went with family with a small baby, hotel staff was so rough in behaviour .. We visited at evening time, around 7PM, I saw people sitting and having food in AC room, there were many free tables too, but the hotel staff asked us not to goto AC room, because there are no waiters to serve food there, But I could ser 4-5 waiters simply resting there. the non AC section was not neat n clean. I informed the person in cash, and he also didn't take any action.
