Hotel Food Paradise — Restaurant in Kerala

what a horrible pathetic and a disastrous experience !! like i mean litterally ! we stopped here only because we were very hungry and based on some of the reviews, we ASSUMED it was a decent place to eat. BUT we wre so wrong.

the place looks fine from outside but inside its very average. we felt hot.. there was no ventillation.. the ambience was sad.

We ordered veg biryani and roti-fish curry. my husband only had 2 spoons of biryani and he was done.. my son had it as it had no spice.. worked well for him.. roti was dry. fish curry was disappointing. we wre done eating in 15 minutes... we gave the money to the waiter and were waiting for him to get change .. and then the best part of experience happend..

he had to return us 140/-.. while giving the money back the waiter only gave us 100/- ...when..my husband asked for rest 40/- waiter answered he had kept it for himself as tip ! isnt it upto to us if we want to give the tip and how much... !!! my husband asked him to give the money back.. we did not leave any tip what so ever.. and we stormed out of the place.

The hotel has high visibility in highway that is why we chose it our way back from Mysore and Coorg. The hotel has good appearance and amble parking space. The customer service is very good, they even cleaned our car glasses. The prices are moderate.

The food we ordered were Chicken Kuzhimanthi, Chilli chicken, Tandoori roti, Chappathi and Veg kuruma. Manthi was tasty. Chilli chicken was not actually chilli chicken they just put chicken 65 pieces in a saucy and spicy gravy but it tasted good. Tandoori roti doesn't felt like the arabic one but it was okay. Chappathis were good and the veg kuruma tasted like the ones we have with rice.

The important thing is that four of us who had chappathi and veg kuruma had severe vomiting and diarrhoea which lasted days. We strongly doubt it was because of the low quality food they served. But we couldn't complain because we were having food from different restaurants for the past 2 days. I am really disappointed and frustrated about this. Atleast please provide good quality food for the money we give rather than your pleasing service. Please be genuine on...

I don't know why i didn't feel the food to be so great like the other reviews said, maybe because I'm from Calicut, the food was -for me- below avarage, mandi or biriyani didn't taste good, it felt bland and not so flavourful and a juice we ordered was even worse it was more water than juice and about the customer service, if this place was having a rush and the waiter was being like the way the are, we can understand its because of the rush but when we came only one person was here other than us. The waiter was literally acting as if we came here for free food or something. To be honest the man was rude and was rushing us to order saying," do fast we don't have time, we can't wait too much" and all, and when we are discussing what we want to eat he jumped in the middle of the sentance in a really rude way, the guy is not so matching for waiting if he don't have time to wait. This is the worst place to dine, and I will never ever recommend this place. Its better to be hungry than getting scolded fir trying eat what we want even when...
