For a place that proudly screams momos, Momo and Me in Gokulam Mall is heartbreakingly disappointing.
You couldn’t ask for a more strategic location, yet so much potential is wasted.
I’ve tried your platter, sizzler, and steamed momos, and the food was consistently bland or overpowering with artificial sauces.
Your customers are Malayalis. We like it rich, fresh, and authentic.
Now, why did I go back to Momo and Me two more times if the food was bad?
First, I tend to put up with overpriced, below-average food when I am too hungry to think straight.
It doesn't make sense to go all the way to the beach for good momos and come back to the mall for shopping again.
The second reason? My annoying sister. She’s obsessed with Southeast Asian food videos and insists on dragging me to every place that says momos or dim sums.
She also has a unique talent for ordering the worst dishes on the menu, only to abandon them after two bites.
This time I asked her to finish the whole plate of sizzled combo no matter how long it took. Hopefully, she learnt her lesson.

Try good momos from other shops. Note down what they are doing differently.
For example, a particular momo place near the beach serves garlic dip with momos.
The memory of the rich momos, smeared in hot sauce and creamy garlic dip, pulls one back.
Watch YouTube videos, try different recipes, and add those that taste exceptionally good to the menu.
We don't need hundreds of dishes with fancy names if none of them are remarkable.
And don't forget: FLAVOURS (without MSG or ready-made...

Not much waiting time. Staff was friendly. There were 5 pieces per plate. You can have it as a snack. But I don't think it will satisfy the appetite for a dinner or lunch. But it is good nonetheless. You should...
