We were a group of 4 people and went here searching for a place to sit and drink for a while. Just after reaching munnar around 12 PM, this was the first place we went to get started for a full weekend party.
The place was pretty empty while we went but the staff was very friendly. The service was quick and they had a good variety of dishes available. They also serve alcohol in the restaurant and is friendly for family/women.
We had chicken chilli, beef fry and shezswan fried rice. They all tasted good. The food is a bit pricey with the rates averaging around 250/- per dish. ( Don't remember the exact numbers, cause obviously, i was drunk 😉)

Has the ambiance of a public toilet. Reminds me of the pub in 'Train Spotting' where the American tourist was mugged. The staff were good and like Kerala in general it did feel perfectly safe. Its sole attraction is that it appears to be the only bar in Munnar. It seems to cater for locals rather than tourists so yeah, it's 'genuine'
