I had a wonderful stay at Majindra chettas property - Birdwing cottage in Munnar. The hotel offers a budget-friendly stay without compromising on comfort. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and provided a cozy atmosphere for relaxation.

What made the stay even better was the owner’s hospitality. Majindra was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any requests. His warm behavior made me feel at home, and he even gave great recommendations for local sightseeing spots.

I had the pleasure of living there for a few days in January and recommend it wholeheartedly. At this price it was one of the best standards during my trip. New, cozy and clean apartment, nice bathroom with warm shower, balcony and very good location. In addition, Mahindra is an extremely helpful, courteous and friendly host. He organized a tour for us of the most interesting places and attractions in the area and was happy to help us with all our questions, more as a friend than as a landlord. I heartily recommend him!

PS Being a guest, it is really VERY worthwhile to visit Thirumeny Cultural Center literally minutes from home, preferably for both performances. Silly to miss it while in Munnar! By the way, I also recommend checking out Sri Subrahmanya Swamy Temple...
