It is a very famous restaurant in Munnar Town. One of our usual places as we pass through the time and we have some time to wait. As it is situated in Center of the town on the main road side parking it is a bit problem, so you have to find a parking somewhere park the vehicle and walk back to the restaurant will be the better option. Regarding food it is the best in this area and in comparatively fare price point. It is very famous for its biriyanis which will become out of stock very soon. Chicken biriyani is one of the best dishes with a mild masala in an adequate quantity along with well prepared and melt in the mouth chicken pieces served along with salad, raita and pickle. Usually it is will be busy and there will be a chance out small wait. Eventhough we have to wait for a while the wait will be worth for the price, quality and quantity of the food. They also serves lot of others items such as chappathi, porotta and have vegetarian items as well which are also good. Their service is also very remarkable, once we get seated, supplier will come to us and will take the orders very quickly and supply the food without much wait. Services are very fast and good enough. Sometimes suppliers didn't notice you been seated unless they search for a vacant table. In such case, do let the staff know that you are not addressed by a supplier for the order. This is not a usual story that happens which will only happen in case when too much busy. Once they notice you they will serve you very quickly...
Read moreI recently dined at Rapsy Restaurant in the heart of Munnar on a bustling Sunday afternoon. Despite the crowd, our experience was delightful. Specializing in Kerala cuisine, Rapsy offered a variety of delicious dishes. We ordered Parotta, Fried Rice, Biriyani, Quail Roast, Beef Gravy, and Chicken Gravy. Each dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and generously portioned, providing great value for money.
Remarkably, our orders were served promptly, even with the restaurant being packed. This efficiency was impressive and ensured we enjoyed our meal without any delays.
However, there's room for improvement in their juices and desserts. When we inquired about options, none were available, which was a bit disappointing given the otherwise comprehensive menu.
The ambiance at Rapsy is pleasant, making it a decent family restaurant. Its central location in Munnar adds to its convenience for tourists and locals alike.
In summary, Rapsy Restaurant offers a fantastic Kerala dining experience with a variety of tasty dishes served quickly. While they could enhance their beverage and dessert offerings, it remains a great spot for anyone visiting Munnar. I highly recommend Rapsy for its flavorful food, efficient service, and...

Had a chance to visit Munnar in middle of the pandemic. The place is at very good location and probably the only restaurant working till 1030 PM. All others close very early.
The restaurant has offerings for chicken mutton beef quail etc. Their biryani is very mild in taste but pretty popular among locals. They offer good variety of food types which taste really good . Most commonly eaten food is porotta and kadala curry , porotta and beef and biryani.
Tye restaurant is not best in taste but it's easily better tasting than all other restaurants.
All dishes that i tried were good and the staff is quite helpful here. One thing which is worst is that no parking space so if you are visiting in peak season, better have a walk there!
I tried kadala curry porotta, beef porotta, biryani, kozhi porichattu, appam , chicken starter and...
