I had a poor experience with this restaurant.Visited this hotel with family during our Munnar trip and waited for like 45 mins for someone to take order and we had to leave the restaurant because nobody attended. Also another reason is they have provided food to two north Indian groups who came after us.But they didn't even come to us to take order. I have called two waiters and asked to take order, they told that will come back soon which never happened. And they were busy on delivering the items to the groups I have mentioned. Read moreVery disappointing experience! We visited Sree Mahaveer Restaurant in Munnar and ordered Masala Dosa expecting a proper South Indian taste — but it was a complete letdown. The dosa was bland, tasteless, and served without any proper curry or chutney. Absolutely no flavor and not even close to what a real masala dosa should be.
This place clearly focuses on North Indian and Gujarati-style food — and South Indian dishes are poorly made and not authentic at all. If you are looking for real South Indian taste, especially dosa, avoid this place.
It was a waste of money and a frustrating experience in such a beautiful place like Munnar. Not recommended for South Indian...
