I recently visited KFC Kazakootam, excited to enjoy a delicious meal and experience the renowned hospitality associated with the KFC brand. However, my visit was marred by an incredibly disappointing service experience that left me frustrated and dissatisfied.
One of the most glaring issues I encountered was the lack of coordination among the staff members. It was evident that they were more interested in chit-chatting amongst themselves than providing efficient service to the customers. The lack of communication and teamwork resulted in a chaotic atmosphere and a considerable delay in the overall dining process.
To make matters worse, the staff seemed completely oblivious to the availability of certain items and their respective delivery times. I was shocked to witness the confusion among the employees, as they appeared clueless about which items could be delivered quickly and which were unavailable altogether. This lack of knowledge and preparation severely impacted the efficiency of the entire service.
The delivery time for a minimum of one order was exorbitantly long, taking a frustrating 30 minutes to reach the customer. This delay was unacceptable, especially considering that KFC has prided itself on offering fast food service. Such a delay not only inconveniences customers but also tarnishes the reputation of the establishment.
Furthermore, the billing staff demonstrated a lack of competence in handling the software used for billing purposes. They constantly sought assistance, which led to a perpetually long queue of customers waiting to place their orders. The inefficiency of the billing process significantly contributed to the overall dissatisfaction of customers.
Adding to my disappointment, the staff made promises they couldn't keep. Despite agreeing to deliver my order within 5 minutes, I was left waiting for a frustratingly long 30 minutes. This level of inconsistency and broken promises only exacerbated the negative experience I had at KFC Kazakootam.
In conclusion, my visit to KFC Kazakootam was marked by a severe lack of coordination and efficiency among the staff members. Chit-chatting, confusion about item availability and delivery times, extended delivery durations, and billing software issues all contributed to an unsatisfactory dining experience. On1-1-2025, I placed an order for 3 pcs leg, 6 wings, and 6 strips hot chicken. However, the takeaway box I received did not include what I had ordered. Instead, it contained a combo without leg pieces, only 3 wings (one of which was very small), and 6 strips,and some other small peaces(which i didn't order).
This is not the first time my order has been incomplete—this is the second occurrence of such an issue at this location. To make matters worse, I waited over one hour to get my takeaway order, even after waiting 30 minutes just to place the order. Despite following up multiple times with the lady at the counter, I was met with excuses, poor customer service, and unprofessional behavior.
This experience has been extremely disappointing, as I have always been a loyal KFC customer. I strongly feel that the management at this branch needs to pay more attention to:
Order Accuracy: Ensuring orders are fulfilled as placed. Customer Service: Staff should be polite and attentive to customers' needs. Timely Service: Long wait times for takeaway orders are unacceptable. I urge the management to take corrective action to improve the service quality at this branch. Moving forward, I will be opening and cross-checking my orders before leaving the premises. If any discrepancies are found again, I will not hesitate to escalate the issue further.

Read moreI am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my recent order placed on 02/05/2025 at 21:40 Hrs, amounting to ₹756. The order was confirmed, and I was informed that it would be delivered around 10:15 PM. A delivery person (Mr. Wilfred) was even assigned, suggesting that the process was underway.
However, despite waiting patiently until 10:45 PM, there was no delivery or proactive update. When I called the store, I spoke to Ms. Prabha, who informed me that the order had not even been prepared or assigned, which directly contradicts the earlier status. I also spoke with the manager, Mr. Mohammed Sha, who then told me the order would be cancelled and refunded within 7 working days.
Frankly, this is unacceptable. I was left waiting for over an hour with no food and no clear explanation. If an order can be cancelled so casually after confirming preparation and dispatch, it defeats the purpose of using a food delivery service.
