We went for a friends birthday dinner. There were about 10 of us. Called early to book their tree house. Although there is no slot booking for tree house they said depending upon the time taken to settle in, order and finish food its ok for them to hold the space for 2 hrs.
They have decent parking slot for their seating. I believe about 15 - 20 cars can be easily parked. This place is very near to the bank of Chitrapuzha River. We had booked the tree house for 10. They do have 2 tree houses. One has the capacity of 16 and other 4. But the tables at these tree houses are small hence ideal capacity for dining with diverse order will be 12 and 3.
They had appointed a person to attend us over there. I believe his name was Vishnu and he was extremely courteous, helpful and resourceful.
4 of us were eggitarians and from their perspective I think they didn't had much options. They said something called Dum Egg, which I believe was good. We ordered shallot Beef and Spring chicken as starters. Spring chicken was two full spring chicken and was very tough to be considered as starters when we have 6 of us to split. The shallot Beef is must try. It's little extra spicy due to masala and pepper but everyone who tried it liked. In main course we ordered mutta appam which is actually an egg omlette at the center of normal rice appam. It's worth a try but not a must try though. When asked for they gave the omlette at the center as both sides fried. Nool porota, Mapilla Kozhi Piratt, Duck some curry, Mangolia chicken with fired rice etc was other things we ordered and found nothing exceptional.
For drinks I wanted to order Silver Dream but wasn't available. So we ordered few iced teas (Peach and normal), black tea, icecreams etc.. nothing to comment upon.
The ambiance is super good. Lights and space is well managed. It's an open space not sure if they have any closed AC rooms. May be since it was night and near the river, we felt ok wrt weather. Also didn't felt issues with...
Read moreWe were at Let's Dine Riverview for dinner. The place soffers a generally solid culinary experience, though there were a couple of minor disappointments. The Chilli Chicken and Nool Porotta did not quite meet expectations—both were underwhelming in flavor and texture. However, the standout dishes more than made up for these hiccups. The Chicken 77, BDF (Beef Dry Fry), and Dragon Chicken were exceptional. Flavor-packed and perfectly spiced, these dishes were the real highlights of our meal. Overall, the food had a good balance of bold flavors and was satisfying for the most part. The cold coffee and the strawberry coconut milk shake was excellent as well.
The service was friendly, but a bit slow. While the staff were attentive and polite, there were noticeable delays in bringing out our dishes. It's understandable during peak times, but a little more efficiency would have made the experience smoother.
The ambiance is a bit of a mixed bag. The AC dining area was comfortable, though not as pleasant as the outdoor seating, which had a great view. Unfortunately, the mosquitos were a bit too much of a nuisance for us to enjoy the outdoor space, so we opted for the AC dining. While the interior was fine, it lacked the same charm and relaxation offered by the open-air seating. Still, it's a cozy spot for those who prefer comfort over a view.
Overall, Let's Dine Riverview is a great option for a meal if you're craving flavorful Indian and Chinese fusion dishes, though it could benefit from a bit more attention to speed and consistency. The standout dishes definitely make it...
Read moreLet's Dine Riverview restaurant gave us mixed experiences. On 18/01/2025 evening, I went there with family for dining.
Security at the gate was very rude. He doesn't know how to behave with customers. Though parking space is ambient, the guy insisted to park my car adjacent to another car very close such that the driver of other car won't be able to get into it. He needs some training to behave well to customers.
We took the seat on the upstairs of the canopy located at the extreme right side of the restaurant facility. What shocked me is the sighting of a dead fish on one of the chairs. It is not clear how the fish's dead body came there. Service boy was telling that it might have put by crows or birds. The disappointing factor is that the laxity by hotel authorities for upkeep of the premises.
We ordered Nool porotta, Chicken tikka lababdar, dragon chicken, orange juice and veetile kozhi curry. Food was just average. Orange juice was very sour. Chicken lababdar was just average. Porotta was the only thing which stood above average.
Service boys are courteous and polite. They are prompt in serving the food and their behaviour is very nice.
The ambience of the hotel is nice such that it can hold about 100 people at a time. The restaurant attracts a crowd of youngsters mostly.
The overall experience is just average and it is not worth the...
