I would like to convey my heartfelt thanks to Gateway of TAJ ,for making it possible for me, to make a memorable day in my parents life with a small dinner surprise .. It was just 2 days back.. I felt really happy to know that DAD n MOM had a wonderful evening there .. I'm more happier because I badly wanted to be with them and bye to this pandemic nothing is according to our planning .. But thanks to Gateway Hotel team that they gave a mind-blowing experience with their kind, gentle and professional service.. It will be ride of me if I didn't mention 3 names here Mr. Murali Krishna Das Mr. Shine Thomas Mr. Joy

Without whose humble support and cooperation this wouldn't have happened.. I ordered for a buffet . Since I've told it's my parents anniversary they provided a complimentary cake too .. and also to get the look and feel of a kind off anniversary dinner they arranged tiny flowers which was available at their garden and also a card .. Again and again endless thanks to each and everyone one who helped me with this .. More than the food it is their service what attracted us a lot ..

I know it's a long review .. but there is nothing that I can...

We found the restaurant of acceptable level of taste and quality. Dinner was served on time and was fairly good, though neither the look nor feel of the restaurant was at par with the expectations one would have from a 5-star hotel. The atmosphere felt a bit too quiet and, for lack of a better term, dead. There was no music and, to make things worse, the vibe was dull and, frankly, out dated.

The rest of the hotel from the rooms to the common areas looked old and tired. The texted themed colors chosen for the property did not seem to be well maintained, which is extremely disappointing considering it’s a Taj property. It goes without saying that the hotel requires renovation in order to be at par with modern standard and enhance guest experience.

With that said, its safe to say the staff was more than courteous and the food was truly eye catching, but this all felt a bit underwhelming given the surrounding infrastructure that seemed to lack...
