Stopped at this restaurant for a quick bite. We parked outside on the main road not realising that they have a parking lot inside the compound which is definitely a plus in this area since there is limited parking around. If you are looking for a break from South Indian cuisine then this is a place for you to enjoy some North Indian options and chaats too. Prices on the menu are reasonable and from what I could see being served at other tables, the portion size of meals were good too. There is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor under a covered roof. Although we arrived late afternoon there were plenty of customers being served. I ordered an egg burji with garlic butter naan and masala chai. The burji was well seasoned and the garlic naan was delicious. The masala chai for me was one of the best I have ever had, just the right amount of sweetness and consistency. Staff were friendly which always make completes an experience. Will return with a...
Read moreWent to the restaurant last day- had been in my wishlist for a while as I used to see the restaurant every time i went to the airport and it had a very good ambience from the outside. Now coming to the main points, 'north indian' was limited to the signboards and the waiters working there. The menu had very limited North indian options and most of them were not available. We ordered butter chicken as it was one of the only available North indian items. Now being very honest it tasted like the kerala style chicken curry with loads of honey in it. When the waiter was asked he himself couldn't help but agree that this was not butter chicken but this was how it was made there. We had also ordered fried rice which was very undercooked. The roti and butter naan were decent. A very bad experience. They should remove dhaba and North indian food from...
Read moreI would not recommend this establishment for special occasions like Thanksgiving Eve or any other significant events. However, if you're simply looking to try some North Indian-inspired cuisine with a Punjabi flair, it might be worth a visit. Be aware that the quality of your dining experience is largely dependent on the chef's disposition that day, as the taste of the food can be inconsistent. Additionally, the restrooms are subpar and lack adequate maintenance, which further detracts from the overall experience.
Or, in a more concise form:
This restaurant is not ideal for special occasions, but if you're craving North Indian-Punjabi food, it's an option. Be prepared for inconsistent taste, as it seems to depend on the chef's mood. Also, note that the restrooms are poorly maintained and...
