Had a very very bad experience yesterday...we were a group of 9 and was hoping to have special veg meals from jaya restaurant ...saw that the restaurant was closed due to some construction..on checking with security he said we could have it from mayflower restaurant..both were of same mgmt and in same compound..we checked with the hotel if seating was available for 10 ppl and they said yes...had to wait for 15 mts as it was quite crowded.. we orderd spl meals for all of us...and then the horror starts...even after waiting for 45 mts our meals were not served...we kept on asking them and they said they were setting the meals ...this went on for long..we had a small baby with us who was cranky as he was hungry..we req the waiter to atleast provide just rice n curry fr the kid..even after requesting thrice they were hesitant..and after almost an hour we were served our lunch..to our dismay only 3 or 4 curries were available incl payasom.even the basic items like thoran Avial etc were missing...and the food was cold...when we checked with waiters for the curries, they said everything was finished..we somehow ate Whatvwe git as it was too late to go to another restaurant and everyone was tired...and when the bill came they had charged the exact price of rs.120 for the spl meals..for rice and 3 -4 items. Usually the meals had more than 10 12 items...when we spoke to management..thy were reluctant to reduce the bill though the waiter came and told manager that we could not serve because most of the items were over...even then they were reluctant to give any discount...finally after a lot of argumnts they reduced it to 85/ meals..honestly the meals served was not even worth rs 30...and to add woes..there was no water in the pipes in the wash area...it was such a disappointment..esp since we had guests whom we had...
