This is one restaurant I've never heard of despite being living in the city for a while. It's difficult to locate as the road leading to the restaurant appears to be a dead end. Might feel intimidated if you visit at night with family.
Visited this restaurant for dinner. The place was literally empty. Waiter offered a chilled bottled water and disappeared. We waited for a while thinking that someone would turn up with a menu. We could see staffs running back and forth but no menu came. After a while waiter appeared with thali meals and disappeared.
It looks like they only have that menu for dinner. Thali had freshly baked hot chappathis, aalu fry, curd, chutney, and two other curries. It was a true north Indian tasty dinner which was worth the wait! Though there was some confusion in the beginning, I felt the restaurant waiters to be friendly and the service to be good. Will visit again to try some...
Read moreHi Everyone, Really good tasty food.. very very very friendly staff homely good food !.
Even if you say dnt want dnt want the person will come with a smiling face come and give one chapati soon as u finish one served earlier . This can happen till you'll loose your smile eating so much chapatis but his smile may not end like his chapathis 😂.
Very good .. since this place is near to the market area.. specifically near pallayam market.. the place to go to this place is not that clean and we cannot expect it to be clean!! So ignoring that ..
The hotel was good .! A decent home cooked meal they serve you can feel it when u eat it !. More over we met people who has been eating there since 35years! .

Read moreIt was hard to locate the restaurant via Google maps at first but located it inside a gali at last. I went to a simple pure veg restaurant near to my pvt. bus stop centre.
The place was named Mahaveer Bhojanalaya, they served me their unlimited thali and kept roti in my thali before I could say "No", treated customers very well with service and talks, so I planned to give 200 rupee note for 130 rupee meal and asked the waiter to keep the rest.
He gave me 70 rs back and said that we will only keep the money that is in the menu price, God is watching...
I said I understand and respect your sanskar and left, now waiting at Kabeer Travels limited for my 9:15 pm...
