Visited RP mall Kollam - McDonalds, twice within this month at night time around 9 PM. (12/09/2024 was the recent). Was having a queue and there were at least 3 people before me. By that time I was checking the menu on TV display and when my turn came ordered a combo( don't remember which one, but costs around ₹300/-) and immediately the counter staff says NOT AVAILABLE! First they say that FRIED CHICKEN NOT AVAILABLE. When I look at them with a surprise, they say "Okay sir, its available but it will take at least 40 minutes to prepare and you have to wait that much or we have some other options- (WHICH I DONT PREFER)and we can deliver it within 15 minutes". This happened on the past two occasions. On the second time, I have also ordered McFlurry Mango and Oreo flavours for my wife and daughter and that too was not available though it was displayed on the TV screen! I asked the boy in the counter whether this is really a McDonalds store because you are saying that Fried chicken not available! Mostly we will be in a hurry since we vist the mall to watch a movie and can spare maximum of 30 minutes before the movie begins. I think it is not professional on their behalf to say Fried chicken not available and expect us to have what they promote or prefer. We did'nt take the offer and went to the food court in the mall and had the same fried chicken combo from a shop called Chikeys within 15 minutes!
